Well I think the size is somewhat important as well it shows how many people are upset about what is happening in D.C. As they say if one person writes to a Senator he or she is speaking for 1000. So how many showed up. According to some thousands.. but I live in DC and if it was only 60 thousand it was the larges 60 thousand I have ever seen. I was there for the Inauguration and let me just say, it was just as crowded on 9/12. According to the official count that they used to count how many showed up for the Inauguration it was 1.4 million that showed up on 9/12. That is a lot of people. I find it funny when the news either reports lower numbers or doesn't report on an event like this at all. It smells of state run media trying to keep people from joining the opposition.

Favor social policies based on traditional Judeo-Christian values
Support only marriages between one man and one woman by either the church or the state

Believe life begins at conception
Oppose abortion (with very limited exceptions) and embryonic stem cell research
Support a strong national defense
Support a small, non-invasive government and low taxes
Generally in favor of public prayer and the right to own guns

If it helps staff, for the record, and/or in general, I do agree with the above.

The safe houses are for the purpose of enabling a group of members who are like-minded to have a thread to discuss current political topics as well as fellowship together.

This is where the problem lies.

RealDeal and myself are very much like-minded. Just because the extent of my approval of all of the policies posted in the OP varies slightly from people like you does not mean that people like me can not post here.

A friend of mine from college was at the 9/12 protest. He'll be sending me a CD-ROM of pictures that I'll try to share. His feeling was that the 60k was way too low. I'd buy at least 500k.
