We know that we have been scattered among the people of the nations. And that the curse of the Torah is upon us. We have been made without Land and Nation. Though in our day, a miracle is occurring through the modern state of Yisrael. But the Spirit is not yet ‘returned’ as promised. His anointed have yet to be placed in their Land. We are still waiting to be gathered out of the nations. (Deut 4:25-28)

From here in the nations we will seek ADONAI our God; and we are finding Him! In our distress, in the world that came about after Yisrael’s exile, we are returning to ADONAI our God and listening to what he says. He has not failed us, nor destroyed us. Nor has he forgotten the covenant he made with our ancestors which he swore to them. He has had mercy on us! As we have searched after him with all our hearts. (Deut 4:29-31)

Indeed, there has never before in all of God’s creation been anything as wonderful as the way God loved our ancestors and chose them to be a nation among the nations. He gave us the Torah so that it would go well with us and that we may prolong our days in the Land ADONAI our God is giving us forever. (Deut 4:32-40)

A tree of life has arisen in Tziyon, and the Spirit of ADONAI rests on him. He stands as a banner for all the people. And when he comes back and rests, he will be glorious! On that day Adonai will raise his hand again, a second time, to reclaim the remnant of his people who remain. He will hoist a banner for the nations, assemble the dispersed of Yisra'el, and gather the scattered of Y'hudah from the four corners of the earth. (Isaiah 11:1-16)

So don’t be afraid, because he has redeemed us; and called us by our name. “You are mine”, he says. When we pass through water, he will be with us; when we pass through rivers, they will not overwhelm us; when we walk through fire, we are not scorched – the flame does not burn us. He is ADONAI, our God, the Holy One of Yisrael, our Savior!! He regards us as valued and honored. He loves us! And he is with us. He will bring us from the east, and will gather us from the west. He will say to the north, ‘Give them up!” and to the south, ‘Don’t hold them back! Bring my sons from far away, and my daughters from the ends of the earth, everyone who bears his name, who he created for his glory. He made us ALL!! (Isaiah 43:1-7)

The time is coming when he will gather together all the nations and they will come and see his glory. He will give them a sign. He will send a remnant to many nations throughout the world where the glory of God has not been made known. There in the nations this remnant will proclaim the glory of God; and they will bring all our kinsmen out as an offering to ADONAI. We will be brought back to Yerushalayim, says, ADONAI. Because just as the new heavens and the new earth that he is making will continue in his presence, so will the descendants and the name of Yisrael continue! (Isaiah 66:18-24)

We will rebuild the ancient ruins, restore sites long destroyed. Strangers will work for us, and we will be called cohanim of ADONAI, spoken of as ministers to our God. Who will be faithful to reward us and make an eternal covenant with us. We and our children will be known among the nations; all who see us will say that we are the seed ADONAI has blessed. (Isaiah 61 4-9)

ADONAI will not destroy us, never! He will bring us to his Land, his mountains, and we will posses them and be his servants. (Isaiah 65:8-10)

Our King will come and succeed; he will do what is just and right in the land. When he comes, Y’hudah will be saved, and Yisrael will live in safety. He will be called ADONAI our righteousness. And the day will come when people no longer swear, ‘As ADONAI lives, who brought the people of Yisrael out of the land of Egypt, but, ‘As ADONAI lives, who brought the descendants of the house of Yisrael up from the land to the north and from all the countries where he drove us. Then we will live in our own land. (Jeremiah 23:1-8)

Jeremiah 33:25-26
25 Here is what ADONAI says: 'If I have not established my covenant with day and night and fixed the laws for sky and earth, 26 then I will also reject the descendants of Ya'akov and of my servant David, not choosing from his descendants people to rule over the descendants of Avraham, Yis'chak and Ya'akov. For I will cause their captives to come back, and I will show them compassion.'"

Yes, God has removed to the nations and scattered us among the countries; nevertheless, he has been a little sanctuary for us here in the nations we have gone. So, ADONAI says he will gather us from the peoples and collect us from the countries where we have been scattered, and he will give the land of Yisrael to us. There we will remove all of our disgusting ways, and he will give us unity of heart. He will put a new spirit within us, removing the hearts of stone. We will live by his ways and act by them. We will be his people, and he will be our God. (Ezekiel 11:14-20)

Ezekiel 37:21-28
Adonai ELOHIM says: 'I will take the people of Isra'el from among the nations where they have gone and gather them from every side and bring them back to their own land. 22 I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Isra'el; and one king will be king for all of them. They will no longer be two nations, and they will never again be divided into two kingdoms. 23 "'They will never again defile themselves with their idols, their detestable things, or any of their transgressions; but I will save them from all the places where they have been living and sinning; and I will cleanse them, so that they will be my people, and I will be their God. 24 My servant David will be king over them, and all of them will have one shepherd; they will live by my rulings and keep and observe my regulations. 25 They will live in the land I gave to Ya'akov my servant, where your ancestors lived; they will live there - they, their children, and their grandchildren, forever; and David my servant will be their leader forever. 26 I will make a covenant of peace with them, an everlasting covenant. I will give to them, increase their numbers, and set my sanctuary among them forever. 27 My home will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be my people. 28 The nations will know that I am ADONAI, who sets Isra'el apart as holy, when my sanctuary is with them forever.'"

Luke 13:34
34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!

Luke 19:41-44
41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,
42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,
44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

John 5:43
43 I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

Sadly, dear brother, the stage is being set for one who will deceive the chosen. And not until this worthless shepherd turns the whole world against them and nearly annihilates them will the unbelieving (in Yeshua) cry out to him... as a last resort. And that few number of Jews in Eretz Yisro'el will see the fulfillment of...

Matthew 23:39
39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Zechariah 12
1 The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
4 In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.
5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.
6 In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.
7 The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.
8 In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.
9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. (when the true Spirit will be in the people)
11 In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.
12 And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
13 The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart;
14 All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.

Zechariah 13 (recap)
1 In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.
2 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.
3 And it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the LORD: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.
4 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he hath prophesied; neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive:
5 But he shall say, I am no prophet, I am an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.
6 And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.
7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.
8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.
9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

Zechariah 14 (fast forward)
1 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:
7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.
8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.
10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin’s gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king’s winepresses.
11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.
14 And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.
15 And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.
16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
20 In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD’S house shall be like the bowls before the altar.
21 Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts.

Before this time, as I said, the stage will be set for when a false spirit will appear to them to be the genuine article and will restore a false temple sacrificial system... which is fulfilled in Yeshua already.

1 Corinthians 3:16
16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

But the sacrificial system will be touted as the spirit returned to the regathered when it will not be.

Daniel 9:27
27 And he shall confirm the (Mosaic) covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Daniel 12:11-12
11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

1290 days from the end of this era / age / dispensation of mortal reign over the earth, the deceiver will abate the sacrificial system he re-instituted by the rebuilding of the Jewish temple. He will defile it claiming to be God, and renege on his covenant with the Jews claiming Babylonianism as the "true" faith.

Zechariah 5:5-1
15 Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.
6 And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth.
7 And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah.
8 And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.
9 Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.
10 Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah?
11 And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base.

Only then will those Jews who followed him realize they'd been had. And they will become the refuse-niks the Christians had been 3.5 years earlier and were persecuted to near anihilation themselves.

Revelation 12-13
1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. (when the Jews think he is the Messiah)
6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.
10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

The mark of the beast is a tracking system / device to track down (shut out from basic survival needs) all who will not take the mark.

In 42 months (3.5 years) the Christians / Messianics will be so far under ground and so few they will no doubt be thought extinct. But those who hold on and are faithful to the end will be raptured on day 1335 of the 70th Week of Daniel (Daniel 12:12).

Not to derail this thread but I agree. When I see several posts from the same person with reams of scripture or text - I just don't have the time to read and ponder. Much can be said in few words. Much can be conveyed in one or two key scriptures with reference to the rest.
Just my three opinions. :)

Mt 24:30 "Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, all the tribes of the Land will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with tremendous power and glory. 31 He will send out his angels with a great shofar;m and they will gather together his chosen people from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Now read my OP and tell me who 'his chosen people' are.

All are gathered for judgement in the end, true. But those who are already resurrected in the first resurrection and are ruling with Moshiach, from Yerushalaim, Tziyon, are already alive forevermore, and are not destined for the second death.

All are gathered in the end, but by that time, Yisrael will be restored, forevermore.

Well, Jesus will rule from Zion, but the gerim who attach themselves to Messiah (covenant members) will also live throughout the whole world for they will come back to Zion for the festivals.

Zecharyah 14:16 Finally, everyone remaining from all the nations that came to attack Yerushalayim will go up every year to worship the king, ADONAI-Tzva'ot, and to keep the festival of Sukkot. 17 If any of the families of the earth does not go up to Yerushalayim to worship the king, ADONAI-Tzva'ot, no rain will fall on them. 18 If the family of Egypt doesn't go up, if they refuse to come, they will have no [annual] overflow [from the Nile]; moreover, there will be the plague with which ADONAI will strike the nations that don't go up to keep the festival of Sukkot. 19 This will be Egypt's punishment and the punishment of all the nations that don't go up to keep the festival of Sukkot.

20 When that day comes, this will be written on the bells worn by the horses: "Consecrated to ADONAI"; and the cooking pots in the house of ADONAI will be [as holy] as the sprinkling bowls before the altar. 21 Yes, every cooking pot in Yerushalayim and Y'hudah will be consecrated to ADONAI-Tzva'ot. Everyone who offers sacrifices will come, take them and use them to stew the meat. When that day comes, there will no longer be merchants in the house of ADONAI-Tzva'ot.

I notice how the nations are still called by name (Egypt), with even a physical reference to her 'Nile' river. If they, as Egypt, do not come to the kings 'concecrated' place and people.......no rain.

I notice still, the distinction between the naitons and Yisrael. Yisrael is consecrated to God, and the nations are blessed by this. We are BOTH in Messiah, doing what we were called to do and be.

There is a 'house of ADONAI' that the nations come to offer in. It is in Yerushalayim, and Y'hudah is concecrated as well, to ADONAI. Why? To be the servants of the world. Like Yeshua taught us. And He told us to tell about this "kingdom" to the world. That through Him gentiles have remission of sins and are found righteous in the sight of God, through Faith. Just like us. Now we can both hold our own place in God's Kingdom. Whereas before gentiles were not included in it. It was 'of the Jews'.

I think it is very possible that Abba has different plans for different people groups in the millennium, we see many examples of this in Scripture and in life around us...we dont all come across this life doing the same things all the time......I welcome what ever He has planned for me:clap:

As I understand it, Yeshua will return and save the remnant of Israel. The tribulation temple (which will not be destroyed, btw) will be cleansed and proper sacrifices will be made there again (not as an atonement but as thank offerings) to remind the people of the price he (Yeshua) paid to save them / us. Interesting that even in the millennium when edenic conditions and longevity re restored and hasatan is bound how people need reminding and focus and guarding against this fallen sin nature.. Because the new nature / general resurrection will not have taken place yet. If I understand the millennium, that is.

By general resurrection I mean the resurrection of the remainder (saved and lost) who were not raised in the first resurrection when the Lord comes to earth to save Israel accompanied with ten thousand of his saints... whenwe who are left and alive will be changed in the twinkling of and eye etc.

Any who know me know that I point out that the building of the first Jewish temple was not God's idea. Compare 2 Samuel 7:12-13 with Zechariah 56:12-13 not to mention passages like Isaiah 66:1-2, Matthew 16:18 (which is not Catholicism btw), and 1 Corinthians 3:16... oh and 1 Peter 2:3-9...

BUT!

Once God condescended to deal with Israel through that temple system, it became an ongoing element with which to deal and at times contend. Originally he instructed Moses to erect the tabernacle. Hebrews 8:5 affirms this. But the stone dead, immobile temple was man's idea and interference.

And as I said, it was one of many concessions of the Lord. Which is evidence of his grace because he is not as rigid as people make him out to be... still there are some things that are non-negotiable and man plays with eternal fire when he goes there.

There is one and only one plan for salvation. And the tabernacle and the temple are not it. The tabernacle was made to prophetically depict salvation which and who Yeshua would fulfill in his own blood. But so were other animal sacrifices etc. a depiction of this. And the temple was (shall we say) an echo of the tabernacle prophecy.

And since man went the way of the temple, it will be in the millennium but you will notice it is not in heaven.

Revelation 21:
21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

 My understanding as well.

The identity of Israel and the Jewishness of Jews lie not in the Temple nor even the Torah, but in the God who chose and chooses them. This is my point in all my posts on these topics... not to run anyone or anything down... but to actually release Jews from trapping themselves by these identifiers. There's so much more to being a Jew.
