Ok. The Obama=Nazi sign is so stupid it's offensive. The content itself isn't offensive to me, but that someone could put so much fear and so little rational thought into a sign that could be seen by millions of people is to weird for me.

And for the record, I thought it was lame when it was done for Bush too.

Democrats in America: Heed this call.
Your action to speak up in support of health care reform is becoming more crucial. If you agree with those supports, best call appropriate leaders. I think that generally in America, political apathy needs to promptly see itself out the door if you want to keep this president going cause I see pretty relentless attacks for the next 4/8 years.

After Bush took office, the Dems imploded.
After Obama took office, the Repubs imploded; To the point where they are leaderless and it's as though they're letting the heard go around without any alpha male and female. They need a leader to leash them in again.

daily mail is complete garbage anyway. they don't attribute the 2 million figure to anything as far as i can tell they pull it out of their rear.

and then there's this snippet from the article:

Recent polls illustrate how difficult recent weeks have been for a president who, besides tackling health care, has been battling to end a devastatingly deep recession.
Fifty percent approve and 49 percent disapprove of the overall job he is doing as president, compared to July, when those approving his performance clearly outnumbered those who were unhappy with it, 55 percent to 42 percent.
Just 42 percent approve of the president's work on the high-profile health issue.
The poll was taken over five days just before Obama's speech to Congress. That speech reflected Obama's determination to push ahead despite growing obstacles.
"recent polls"... WHAT POLL, DAILYMAIL?? who's the pollster? sample size? polltype? margin of error? link to poll? Who did the poll? Gallup, zogby, rasmussen, ARG? It doesn't even say.

I wish people wouldn't link to "news" sources that have worse journalistic standards than your average Wikipedia article.

in any case, as for "up to 2 million people" i'm not going to take a completely uncited British tabloid article's word over the local fire department that said there were 60 or 70 thousand.

*sigh* All I see is 'real Americans' still living under the red scare, frightened that anything labelled 'Socialism' is a threat to liberty and an immediate indication of a march toward a 'Communist dictatorship' or some kind of totalitarian state. Adopting one 'Socialist' policy does not make a nation Communist. Indeed, I wonder how many of these protestors would actually benefit from the Socialism they so despise.

Well however many there are, god bless em for exercising their freedom of speech.

Still, I have to take notice that folks who organize demonstrations against, say, the Iraq war for example, are often characterized as haters and loons (not that I've seen you do this canukian) while these kinds of protests are characterized as being from "real Americans" tm (as opposed to what, the fake ones???)

of course, the two million number is patently absurd, but the "tens of thousands" that most of the media is reporting seems like an undercount as well. one MSNBC reporter is estimating 200,000 and that seems like the closest estimate based on the video i have seen. not a bad turn out. i still think they are victimized sheep that are being manipulated by people with an agenda of protecting the financial interests of the very wealthy, but they got a fair turnout of willing idiots.

Any coverage on mainstream media? ha! devil's got 'em!

People were chanting "enough, enough" and "We the People." Others yelled "You lie, you lie!" and "Pelosi has to go," referring to California congresswoman Nancy Pelosi.

What makes them idiots? And what qualifies you to make that determination? Takes one to know one perhaps.

what makes them idiots is them mindlessly parroting en masse the completely debunked one liners that operatives have created for them to rally around. they are being used, and many of them are the ones who's health care is being eroded by the present system.
and yes, i'm an idiot. how's that? does that make you feel better? what makes you qualified to post on these threads, or any of us for that matter?

I have seen nothing absolutely "debunked". It seems that you are the one mindlessly buying into the Democrat talking points which say that the concerns of conservtives are unfounded.
