Ezekiel - Verse by Verse

Young) Ezekiel 28:19 All knowing thee among the peoples Have been astonished at thee, Wastes thou hast been, and thou art not--to the age.'

Ezekiel 28:21
21 "Son of man, set your face against Sidon; prophesy against her

Ezekiel 28:22
22 and say: 'This is what the Soverign LORD says: "' I am against you, O Sidon, and I will gain glory within you. They will know that I am the LORD, when I inflict punishment on her and show myself holy within her.

Ezekiel 28:23
23 I will send a plague upon her and make blood flow in her streets. The slain will fall within her, with the sword against her on every side. Then they will know that I am the LORD.

Ezekiel 28:24
24 "' No longer will the people of Israel have malicious neighbors who are painful briers and sharp thorns. Then they will know that I am the Sovereign LORD.

Ezekiel 28:25
25 "'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: When I gathered the people of Israel from the nations where they have been scattered, I will show myself holy among them in the sight of the nations. Then they will live in their own land, which I gave to my servant Jacob.

Ezekiel 28:26 (KJV) And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.

Ezekiel 29:1 (KJV) In the tenth year, in the tenth month, in the twelfth day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Ezekiel 29:2 (KJV) Son of man, set thy face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt:

Ezekiel 29:3 (KJV) Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.

Ezekiel 29:4 (KJV) But I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy scales.

Ezekiel 29:5 (KJV) And I will leave thee thrown into the wilderness, thee and all the fish of thy rivers: thou shalt fall upon the open fields; thou shalt not be brought together, nor gathered: I have given thee for meat to the beasts of the field and to the fowls of the heaven.

Ezekiel 29:6
And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the LORD, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.

Ezekiel 29:7
When they took hold of thee by thy hand, thou didst break, and rend all their shoulder: and when they leaned upon thee, thou breakest, and madest all their loins to be at a stand.

Ezekiel 29:8
8 "'Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says; I will bring a sword against you and kill your men and their animals.

Ezekiel 29:9
9 Egypt will become a desolate wasteland. Then they will know that I am the LORD. "Because you said, "The Nile is mine; I made it,"

Ezekiel 29:10
10 therefore I am against you and against your streams, and I will make the land of Egypt a ruin and a desolate waste from Migdol to Aswan, as far as the border of Cush.

Ezekiel 29:11 (KJV) No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years.

Ezekiel 29:12 (KJV) And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.
