I've been going around posting already and I didn't even realize there was a place where new members were supposed to introduce themselves.
Well anyway, now that I've made that little realization I'd just like to say hi.
I am an atheist. I've currently been living abroad in a considerably less religious country than the united states. Where previously I hardly had to say anything for the subject of religion to come up (once you let slip you're an atheist in some parts of the states the questions won't stop) it hardly ever happens here. Where I once thought it was annoying, now I'm actually kind of missing it. I realize now that I like religious debates because it lets me get a look into how other people think, and gives me an opportunity to see other peoples perspective on life. I look forward to some interesting discussion.
That being said I am kind of irked that I can't talk in certain forums (namely unorthodox theology and christian apologetics) but I suppose beggars can't be choosers.
