And be sure of one thing, this isn't about 'who's more Christian'
and it never was.
It's about what Conservative means - in order to have a
safe haven for Conservatives.
Not trying to blend Conservatives w/ moderates & liberals.
We already HAVE 2 other forums for people who lean more
towards the other 2.

So you're actually incorrect about your assertions and
judgments and maybe if YOU have nothing positive to add,
you shouldn't add anything in it?

I almost mentioned it in my previous post, but if someone votes for a pro-life democrat thats fine with me. I don't consider myself a party politics kind of guy, I don't really care what party a candidate belongs to, so much as what policies and beliefs the individual candidate personally follows.
The reason the democratic party is usually the issue is because the vast majority of their candidates are pro-abortion, and the party as a whole has that as their platform position.

As for libertarians, the main reason I have not supported libertarians in the past is the pro-life issue. I am generally all for state's rights. However, I don't believe any state should be allowed to have legalized abortion on demand. To me, arguing that would be like arguing that a state should be allowed to legalize murder if thats what they want.
I would agree that the exact legal handling and the exact legal code should be left to the states and their own constitutions.
In general I would not have a problem supporting a political candidate as long as they are in favor of overturning Roe V. Wade, (speaking specifically on this issue).

Is the CC forum going to be shut down? My apologies as I've not followed this thread thru its entirety.

Zec & Des and others leaving are very sad. What's the beef? There is disagreement regarding religion on any forum. Here we at least have a semblance of like minded Christians.

I don't think anyone is actually trying to shut it down, we are just supposed to be updating the Statement of faith. And I don't think des left the forum.. just this thread

If the forum were to spiral out of control as it has in the past it very well could be. I am hoping for it to survive. I have used my garden story a few times around the forums in regards to CF and it may be time to continue to remove some more unwanted elements from the board.

I beg to differ. Nadiine is one the most God fearing and breath of fresh air posters on this forum. Bar none. She is wholly backed by scripture in all of her posts.

That's what they're after dude; to replace the noisy ones with a more docile crowd that'll hush and click advertisements ~~ TalkRat/Elsewhere folks talk about the heavy-handed way staff runs things, and they warned about this sorta thing but being libs I just sorta "pshawed" it....and perhaps it appears they were right...

This is wrong on so many levels.

You guys CANNOT come in here telling us to behave ourselves when you cannot even follow the very rules you're holding up to us.

Had a regular member said this, heck, had one of the conservatives said it, I'm sure swift punishment would've followed. This is a comment that would've been better off not said here, but in a PM, or even better, not said at all. How does it help the conversation?
