Thanks for the video. In 1990 when the deck was made, a lot of this information was already out, but few were taking it seriously.
The specific targets of course were not known, but these were ones people feared attacks on. Enemies could just watch US movies to find out which buildings to go for. The World Trade Center had already had significant fire in 1975, before the 1993 failed attack. The Pentagon... that's obvious.
Hal Lindsey, John Walvoord, Pat Robertson, economist Larry Burkett, and later Peter and Paul LaLonde, and were among writers who voiced concerns and cited specific problems. It would be interesting to go back and read their earlier works.
Talking openly about conspiracies in the 80's (pre-RPG deck) was scoffed at as completely uneducated and superstitious. At least now, people are recognizing that some of these events have already played out.
If you have time this summer, get your hands on Burkett's Illuminati novel, printed in 1996, or 1973 There's a New World Coming, Lindsey.
I also remember some SDA speakers in the late 1970's that warned of conspiracies, but they mixed in some statements about groups (like Catholicism) that made them appear biased.
In 1968, S. Franklin Logsdon compared similarities between the US and the Babylon of Jeremiah 51:13.
In 1972 (publish date) Lindsey wrote about an intended one world economic system and a cashless society. He quoted B.F. Skinner on shaping human behavior and altering perceptions.O thou that dwellest upon many waters... thine end is come.
"It will be sudden -- a sneak attack." quoting Jeremiah 50:24 and 51:32.
"'The passages are stopped'...'Passages' probably suggests means of communication...all perhaps accomplished by a national blackout of electricity.... We had an alarming taste of such an experience a year or more ago in the New York City area..."
(1965 Northeast blackout.)
It's amazing how society has changed since then, and how the world has been reshaped. It hasn't been a few recent uneducated voices begging that we pay attention, but decades of documentation and warning.
Hmmm....I myself am a Preterist, I just happen to disagree with most other Preterists interpretationsThanks for your insightful reply. The problem with the majority of the authors that you quoted, is that they mostly view Bible prophecy through the lenses of the a Jesuit inspired inspired interpretive method, namely, Futurism or dispensationalism, which leaves you clueless when it comes to identifying the Antichrist individuals and organizations in the here and now! Because Futurism looks for the Antichrist to arise after the Rapture.
You mentioned SDAs giving prophecy that was bias against Roman Catholicism, while SDAs are only giving a message that was passed on to us by the Reformers of the 16th century who were inspired with amazing vision to identify the Antichrist power as described in the Bible, way back in the 16th century!! And yet, what do we see now, the majority of Christians on planet earth being duped by the two Jesuit inspired false interpretive views--Futurism and Preterism!!

Preterism and Futurism? Both False!
I am actually leaning more to Full Fillment........just not quite there yetYou must be a partial Preterist then, which is better than a full Preterist. The BIG question is: What method of interpretive method are you applying to the Bible prophecy that is being fulfilled before our very eyes, and in the events that have transpired over last 500 years since the Reformation of the 16th century?

In your view, is Matt 24 and the Olivet Discourse showing THE 2nd Coming/Parousia or just A 2nd Coming/Parousia [as some Partial Preterists believe]?LLOJ: Let me ask you this question: Why would God give the apostle John, the visions of the future as recorded in the book of Revelation, when he was very old, near the end of the first century, if they were to be all fulfilled in the 1st century? When its clear that those visions of the future lead all the way to the second coming of Jesus? And we know that Jesus did not come back a second time while John was alive.
