Um... What's the deal with certain parts of this forum being "Christians Only"? I.E. The Theology section. Why is that "Christians Only"? Are Others not allowed to join these discussions? Or audit them...? I mean, the Congregation threads don't say "Christians Only"? Does that mean Others can be preached to but are not welcome in actual theological / philosophical discussion? Double Tee Eff, if you will.

Welcome to CF! :)

To answer your question, the purpose of having some of the forums labelled as Christian Only is to allow Christians to get answers to their questions by Christians from a Christian perspective (this is Christian Forums, after all). Many times, people have sincere questions that need advice that a non-Christian might not able to provide (such as Bible verses that relate to the topic or answers that include Christian ideals). These restrictions have come from previous incidents in which threads which began as a member asking for advice or an answer to a question have turned into big debates that were of almost no help to the original poster. There are places here to debate things, I assure you, but there are also places in which a debate is unwelcome.

However, non-Christians are more than welcome to engage in discussion in the sections of the forum that are not restricted the Christians only. I am glad you chose to join here and I hope you will have an enjoyable time here. :)

God bless!
