Well getting married by the end of the years appears to be a positive move. But, getting shut down by the mods, isn't very positive.

Even this 73 year ole prude was not offended. I think the report button is used way tooo much - we have lost a lot of Godly Wisdom because of some thin skinned people who just want to use the power of that button.

The mods keep watch on all the threads and if something needs to be taken care of let them do their job - unless it is strickly against God, that will ruffle my feathers, but the honest call for help did not.

Coming from a former mod. You might want to read the rules of the site. This is a rated G Site. By the way, complaining about staff actions and site rules is a violation too.

Disruptive Behavior

Song of Sollomon is NOT a figurative book, it is a specific book about courtship, relationships, marriage and love. Marriage and yes SEX are gifts from God. In the SoS we see a couple attracted, dating/courting, married, instimate with one another, dealing with conflict ...

Why would God give us the great and wonderful gifts of marriage, love and sex and not give us some clues in how to handle and approach these things?

You need to go back and read the <staff edited> OP of the thread that spawned this one, Allen. NOWHERE in that thread did I even REMOTELY insinuate that I was using masturbation as "[my] method of relieving [my]self of this frustration". GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT. I was point TO masturbation saying that it's NOT THE SAME as sex with someone you care about and "become one with" (oh, and that's in the Bible by the way, that whole "becoming one flesh" thing). So before you start calling my post "sleezy" or "inappropriate for a Christian forum", you need to get your facts straight, read what's WRITTEN not what you infer from that and THEN write a response.

(Oh, and by the way...I never saw ur post on the other thread. Must've been deleted before I got the chance to see it.)

:HUG: Thank you for the support, Ms. Sharon. Thin skinned people, indeed! I think some people need to be monitored with that report button. If you have a user who is using it an inordinately higher number of times than the average user...they need to be put on a "Report Button Shutout" for a while so they can cool their heels....or, um, cool their "mouse clicker finger".

I mean seriously! If you have an average user who uses the report button let's say 1 out of every 100 times they're online (just a shot in the dark here) and then you have someone who is using it 1 out of every 5 times they're online...well...SHUTOUT! LOL. PUT DOWN THE REPORT BUTTON OR WE WILL HAVE TO USE LETHAL FORCE!!

Honestly! Who throws a shoe?! Sorry folks...a little Austin Powers humor there with that one. It just slipped right out.

For real though. Y'all thin skinned people need to calm down with that report button. A week with my family would probably put you in a coma if you're THAT thin-skinned. hehehehe

Oh, no sir. Not asking for this thread to be closed. Just stating what I feel will be inevitable. I hope I'm wrong. But I wouldn't be surprised if somebody had already reported this thread and it was on the verge of being shut down even as I type this. Thank you for all that you do. You have always been a help and very kind. And I'm not sucking up, either.

Just being honest. Tryin to "live like I was dyin" kind of thing. Hopefully this thread will be helpful to a lot of people and not just me ranting about thin-skinned people on the CF.
