According to the link I provided, no it was not. Nobody has the right to go around pushing police officers.

Police officers push people around all the time without warrant or reason; in essence, people should have the right to resist unlawful or unwarranted arrest.

Cant say that this specifically applies to this case, however.

What you say may be true, however it is irrelevant is this case. There is no proof that the traffic violator was being arrested, and the pastor was arrested for interfering with police activity.

so, who protects us from the police when the police become corrupt?

An entire force does not become corrupt at once. The city I grew up in (Tacoma, WA) had a very corrupt police force. They were corrupt from top to bottom (though there a few good men in there). Things work out eventually.

...which has nothing to do with this article. There was no mention in either article about corruption.

"corruption" is subjective.

use of excessive force and then justifying it without warranted justification is corrupt.

so, corruption can have something to do with this story.

But cops have full right to use excessive force?

Very interesting.

Why are cops trained in combat again?
