Hmmm. Interesting. What I would like to know can you show scripture to back this up?
You see Salvation is very exclusive. You cannot do and believe anything you want and still get into heaven. Christ Himself said in,

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Let`s break the three key words in this verse down into the original Hebrew Christ spoke. Please do not say that thhey didn`t speak Hebrew in the time of Christ because I can verify from scripture that they did.

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

On the surface this verse of scripture is saying what it means. That Christ is truth and He is the way.And that He is also the only way to the Father. You cannot believe any other Gospel that says that Christ is not what He says He is.On the surface it is a plain cut and simple verse, but if you dig deeper it says so much more.
There are rabbi`s who can teach an entire sermon on one letter of the Bible because each letter has multiple meanings. And when a letter is joined to another letter that meaning expands a great deal depending on the meanings of the letters used.
Each and every word that Christ spoke has meaning and there is a reason He said everything. There is so much in scripture that we just take in at a glance thinking that is all it means without even bothering to dig under the surface.
Now let`s take one verse of the New Testament. Remember Christ spoke Hebrew and He preached and taught to a Jewish audience so lets dig into this verse the way it should be dug into. Let`s look at the "sod" or deeper and hidden meaning.

Let`s take a look at the three key words in this verse; the way,the truth and life in the original Hebrew that Christ spoke. It brings to light a lot more then we think it did on at first glance.

The Hebrew word for way is derek (deh`-rek). It means, way path, road or manner.

Literal meaning

Dalet door

symbolic meaning
pathway,to enter

resh literal meaning
head
symbolic meaning

literal meaning
chet fence,hedge,
chamber

symbolic meaning

The word "halakhah" is usually translated as "Jewish Law," although a more literal (and more appropriate) translation might be "the path that one walks." The word is derived from the Hebrew root Hei-Lamed-Kaf, meaning to go, to walk or to travel.

Christianity is not about chasing the next great aesthetic high. It's not about just having feel-good experiences where the sky opens up and you feel all, like, connected and spiritual. I've had them, lots of them, some really big ones. They're fun. But they are not the point. The point is staying focused and present and connected to God in all the small moments, the hard moments, the drudge moments

Deut 30:10-15
10 If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.
12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
16 In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

Isa:2:3: And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Psalms:1:1: Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
Psalms:1:2: But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Psalms:1:3: And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Psalms:1:4: The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
Psalms:1:5: Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
Psalms:1:6: For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Psalms:119:30: I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.
Psalms:119:31: I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame.
Psalms:119:32: I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.
Psalms:119:33: Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.

Matt 20:16 And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men.

What is the "Way" of God? Christ Himself said in Matt.22:37-39 ,"love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul and with all thy mind. This is the greatest commandment and the second is liken unto it,love thy neighbor as thyself." And He went on to say in verse 40,"on these two hang the whole Law". This is the way of God.This is the way of righteousness. If God is the center then everything else will fall into it`s place.

The Hebrew word for truth is emet. This is an amazing word.It is the first, middle and last letter of the Hebrew aleph-bet.Alef-mem-tav. If you erase the alef (with the numerical value of One,speaking of the Holy One of Israel) all that remains is met. Which means death.

symbolic meaning literal meaning
Alef strength, ox,bull
leader,first

mem symbolic meaning
massive,overpower,
chaos
literal meaning
water

symbolic meaning literal meaning
Tav covenant, sign, cross
seal

Pilate`s question,"What is truth?" is a category mistake, since truth is not about "what" but "Who." That is, truth is not something objective and static, a thing to be known and studied from a distance. No. Truth is essentially personal. It is personal disclosure of the character of the subject. Understood in this way, truth is a way of living, a mode of existence, a relational truth.

Psalms:33:4: For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.

Psalms:138:2: I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

Joh:17:17: Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Eph:6:14: Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

3Jo:1:4: I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

The Hebrew word for life is chai, with a root(chayah) meaning living or quicken
The three Hebrew letters for chai is chet-yod-yod.
literal meaning
Chet = fence, hedge,chamber

symbolic meaning
private,to separate, deed, work, to make

Yod = Literal meaning
closed hand
Symbolic meaning
deed,work,to make

The word chai literally means life within boundaries.Life without boundaries or restrictions isn`t much of a life at all.
I remember as a kid growing up there was a house across the street from my parents house. In the yard the was about four big apple trees. Not a one of them under 30 or 40 feet tall. On these apple trees there was the biggest most sour apples you could eat. They was the size of your fist while they was still green. To get one of these apples you could either throw a rock at one and hope you hit it or you climbed the tree and go out on a limb to get one. The closest branches to the ground was at least ten or fifteen feet off the ground so for a kid it was fairly high. But being a kid and doing what kids do I would climb one of those trees to get me one of those green apples. I would take a risk and shimmy out on a limb holding on as tight as I can just so I can have just one. According to my mom and dad I wasn`t supposed to be doing this but who listens to them when you 12 years old. I wasn`t scared and I was wanting me an apple and that meant more to me at the time then listening to them.
But the point to this story is this. My parents put a limit on what I could do. Not to overly strict or just because they could but mainly to keep me from getting killed or breaking my fool neck.My parents wasn`t the overly strict kind of parents. My dad was and still is a firm believer in experience being one of the best teachers but there was still limits on what I could do and get away with. Our life in Christ is a lot like that. It is a life within limits and clearly defined boundaries. He doesn`t put these limits on us to confine us or to be cruel, but because those limits are for our ultimate benefit. Our spiritual health depends on us staying in those limits. As a kid and as a teenager I know I pushed my limits with my parents and once or twice I passed those limits entirely and I paid a dear price for doing so.Not only was I punished by them but I had to reap what I sowed from the actions I committed. Our life with Him also has it`s limits and boundaries we should not cross. When we do cross those limits He will forgive us but we will still have to pay the price for our actions. In other words we will reap what we sow.
A hedge or a fence is put up to protect.

Job 1:10
Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
Mark 12:1
And he began to speak unto them by parables. A certain man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about it, and digged a place for the wine fat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country.
Jesus says His Words are life. Jesus Himself,of course,is the Word and so "the Word" is life. And His Word is our hedge. We are His sheep and He is our shepherd.

De:32:44: And Moses came and spake all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he, and Hoshea the son of Nun.
De:32:45: And Moses made an end of speaking all these words to all Israel:
De:32:46: And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.
De:32:47: For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.

The word Law is the Torah which means "Teaching"

Psalms:119:50: This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.

Proverb:3:1: My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
Proverb:3:2: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

Joh:1:4: In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

Now let us look at the end of history for a minute. At the Great White Throne Judgement everyone ever born will stand before Him and be judged. Scripture says even "hell will give up the dead. And in the city of New Jerusalem who are not allowed in the city?

Revelation 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

We cannot do and believe anything we want and still expect to get to heaven We cannot be practicing muslim, bhuddist,or hindu and still expect to get in.You have to have His blood applied. And it doesn`t happen at birth. It is a conscious choice we have to make.
And oh yeah, when a proselite is accpeted into the faith of the Jews they hold a "Mikveh". One of the things that is said after this happens they are told they are "born again."

Jews had what might be called a barbaric, or tribal way of looking at things. All that mattered was what benefitted the Jewish nation...which the Torah, for the most part, supported.
Can I get your opinion?

My opinion is that it comes from an anti-Israeli publication. It was a tribal way, 12 to be exact and the torah was what mattered and what G-d told Moses and how they were to live. They were to live apart from their neighbors not in isolations but in their practices certainly they were to do this. Today the Jews are doing the best they know how with no temple or priests. Since I am thinking this must come from an anti-Israel article I will say that islam does the same thing but wants to make converts of the rest of the world, which we know Judaism does not do. Where the Israelis just want to be left alone in peace. G-d provided ways and means for anyone who wanted a relationship with Him to go and join with the Israelites and made provisions or statues about those who are strangers in their midst, those were to abide by the very laws that governed the Israelites.
