Noah's Ark, and why it couldn't have happened

What is do debunk, a person who thinks they know everything has proven that they know nothing. Why waste time on junk like that?

Hey, did anyone notice the word "demon" on the listed internet site.
Whoever made this site sure had a strange sense humor.

Apparently John thinks anyone with common sense "thinks they know everything".

I really enjoyed that site nMJ. I've printed it out, and the next time my sister slips my kids a Chick tract, I'm gonna slip her kids a copy of it.

Wow, Jesus sure knew what he was talking about in the example you've just given.

(Matthew 10:34) Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

(Matthew 10:35) For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

(Matthew 10:36) And a man's foes [shall be] they of his own household.

Yeah I always thought those verses were particularly clever as well.  What better way to reassure new recruits than to say that Jesus himself has predicted that their newfound faith would cause rifts within their own families?

Another favorite of mine is "the fool has said in his heart there is no God."  Those bible authors were astute students of human psychology, that's for sure!

Yeah, I guess when they weren't fishing or collecting taxes they were studying psychology.  Though it's absolutely none of my business (until, of course, you posted it) please don't be mean to your sister because she doesn't believe and think exactly like you do.

Or perhaps they had a knowledge of ancient languages. Doesn't the word "demon" come from the greek word for "knowledge?"
That's where we get words like "demonstrate"

Demon is from Daimon (Gr). A lesser spirit or deity.

Demonstrate is from the Latin demonstrare

Wood rotting. Left out in the open, the partly-built Ark would be exposed to the elements, such as rain, wind, lightning (a large structure is likely to get struck quite often, and wood burns), fungus, termites and ravenous beavers (well, maybe not beavers). Maybe he first built a huge hangar in which he could construct it safely? That would have almost as great an enterprise as the Ark itself! Unfortunately, the Bible does not enlighten us as to the whereabouts of Noah's Shed. I guess it was washed away in the Flood...

I don't know but I do know this: It didn't rain at that time until the flood.

But why didn't Noah take any of these dinosaurs on the Ark? The Bible says he took two of EVERY LAND ANIMAL (and if dinosaurs were "clean", seven of each). Dinosaurs surely fit into this category, do they not?


Perhaps the dinos were dead. I dont know.

I could not find any connection between the Greek or the Latin. Of course demonstrate has the word demon right in it.

Yup, that is weird. I can't imagine why a site in the UK would be hosted on one of the largest (or possibly THE largest) hosts in the UK. Man, that is some crazy sense of humor.
