Mark 3:29-30 says this:
"Truly I say to you, all sins shall be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they utter; but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin'' because they were saying, ""He has an unclean spirit.''" -- NASB
My understanding is that the blasphemy "against the Holy Spirit" is the permanent rejection of the Holy Spirit as a witness to Jesus Christ, thus it is a rejection of Christ's gift of salvation until death. Would anyone care to expand this idea? Thanks....
