What do you find unattractive?

I already suffered through this in one relationship. I would not willingly enter a courtship with someone who struggled in this particular area.

How could I neglect to mention the following?

A man who shames his woman in public. By this I mean that he raises his voice to her in the presence of others, thereby exposing and humiliating her. I have likewise suffered through this. Never again.

Childish, expects everything to be handed to him on a plate, dependant, has unrealistic expectations, doesn't know his own identity (so follows the crowd) etc.

Nagging is another thing I can't stand. I already have mother figures in my life.

I also don't like excessive drinking or partying. No "club scene" girls for me.

The thing I find most unattractive is lack of backbone. It's nice when a guy is sensitive, but if I constantly have to reassure him that he's not worthless it gets real old real fast. (to be clear, supporting each other of course is necessary, but when it's SO one sided it's tiring and annoying)

Other things:
smoking, swearing, yada yada all those bad habits.
Non-christian.
Bad hygiene.
Obsessed with looks.
Cruel sense of humor. Sarcasm is okay (necessary? ) but there's a point where it's hurtful.
Forgets important things in my life/doesn't pay attention to me.
Not supportive of what I need to do in life.
Not okay to just sit and BE with each other. We don't need to talk 24/7.

I dunno. I could go on. But couldn't we all?

Anyone get the feeling these lists are generated from past relationships?

definitly any hint of prudishness, I dealt with this in the past and it will make for a misserable life.

Yeah, I find that particularly distasteful.

I also find it distasteful when a woman does this to a man in subtle ways:

- When around friends or family, interrupts him or is dimissive of his opinion

- Throws out digs that aren't meant to be playful as much as they are to embarress him or highlight some failing he has, especially in the presense of others
