maybe I wasnt clear my issue is not with us pointing out that they are Orthodox
my point was that perhaps when we proclaim our faith.....see my last post

Pray for Me
My point is this: there are many people who proclaim themselves to be Orthodox Christians who are famous and then live lives that would put most everyone to shame. I hate to keep harking on the example, but Troy Polamalu is one of them. I doubt many here would weekly attend 4 hour Divine Liturgies at a monastary and yet that is exactly what he does during football season. I am sure if any of us made the kind of interception he made last fall with the ball one inch off the ground we would be talking about it for weeks on end, and yet right after that interception Troy was talking to a personal friend of mine not about the interception but about the wonders of the Orthodox Study Bible.
Before you go judging others just because they are famous for proclaiming their own Christianity make sure your own life is in order. Otherwise you have no room to talk.
