Our mission is (or should be) to go where God leads us, do what God tells us, and say what God says to us.

That is true. But my experience is that there is a lot of 'white space' in between that I am left to do of my own volition.

That has been my experience also. I'm finding out that the biggest reason for that is because I'm not listening very well.

Jesus did nothing of His own volition. Why do we?

God is always speaking to us if we'll just listen.

I have no idea what the right answer or the wrong answer is but I see the world as my mission. That hasn't always been my view. It actually has become my view more this past year than ever in my life. First and foremost, if I view the world as my enemy then I am missing the mark with God since we don't wrestle with flesh and blood and we are told to love one another. I don't view the world as my home so it is my mission to see and take with me those who need Jesus and for those who already have Jesus to strengthen the hands that hang down and encourage those who are needing encouraged. I certainly see it as a mission. For by Him and through Him were all things created......no I don't see it as my enemy.
