Nat was very kind to me when I first got to CF and when I decided to apply to moderator training. She was very encouraging. I am sorry for me and will miss her but she leaves a legacy of love and service that will live forever. CF is a better place because of Nat. Now it's up to us to continue!

I had only known Nat for about 2 months, she came to our church and was welcomed by all there. The kids loved her and she was always around to help set up for a church service or pack up, and help out at youth group. It is a big shock to me that she is gone, I still cant believe it, how is the youth group going to take the news tonight.

The pain is to much for me, my chest hurts so bad, I know she is with God now, but that still doesnt stop this hurt. How do you get over something like this.

Nat was an incredible person.. through all her own problems and struggles, she was always there for others, always giving and supporting.
I will miss her so very much.... but I am glad she is at peace.

Prayers for her family and friends, and for Steffi and Katie.

Hey everyone,

I have posted this in teens but will post here as well:

On behalf of Steffi and myself (her housemates) I would like to say thank you for your thoughts and prayers. It means a lot to us and I am sure it means a lot to her family as well. We will pass on your messages to them.

Please hold off on the flowers for now if you can. The funeral will not be for quite as it will be held back in New Zealand and she will need to be moved back there. Mikey, I will let you know what information I have of the funeral when I can, if her parents approve it.

I read this with great sadness and a touch of disbelief. I knew her as bellaandJPforever. :(

(((((Katie & Steffi))))) I pray God gives you both comfort as you try to cope with this devastating loss.

It takes a special kind of person, with a special kind of calling, to work with and love the challenges of the teen forum. The heart that reaches out with warmth in an environment which is often chillingly cold is a rare one indeed.

I like to think that the most exceptional teens and young adults on this site are the ones who serve God by offering comfort and guidance in the Teen forums.

The Net often only gives you an incomplete picture of who a person truly is. But when I look at Nat's many accomplishments on here, and when I remember how the light of God just shone off of her even through this imperfect medium, I can't help but think that she must have been a much, much stronger light in real life.

She definitely left a mark on me, and it's been quite a while since I worked with her here on CF.

I pray God comforts her family and friends. God calls us all home when He's ready, but in this case, it feels like He called her home too soon.

Nat-

I miss you.

There are quite a few things in life I don't understand, and the death of young people is one of them. Just last week when I was on Msn, we talked for the first time in a while, simply because you missed me. You were the first person to email me when I hit my year-mark for being ED free. You just knew. I remember our conversations when I trained you to be a mod...and I couldn't wait for you to be a mod. I found out you were applying and I was so stoked, because, my dear, you have touched numerous lives on this forum. It is devastating. Your loss is hard to comprehend.

I miss you. Come back online, please? I'm still in shock. This can't be happening. Any minute, you'll be back online. Right?

And yet, in all of this I know that Jesus has his arms around you right now and you're more joyful and happy than you've ever been. I can't help but smile knowing how amazingly joyful you are.

I'll see you soon, my dear friend. I'll come join you someday and we'll party, k? :)

^This.

She's in a better place. ANd no matter how bad that hurts, it's what God wanted.
I'd love to be up there right now with her and God. But I know, some day, I will be. And what an awesome day that will be. :)

You are missed, Nat.
My prayers and condolences go out to all of those who were touched, befriended, and loved by her. :prayer:
