Praise God, praise God, the gerbil lives! Her name is Martha, and I spoke to her about Jesus, who is the Resurrection and the Life. Plus, we had a few praying about this. She was truly at the point of death and the vet said there was nothing he could do. We awoke the next morning, a great people of faith

, expecting to find her dead. Instead she had improved, and today she is even better! Now I feel a bit rebuked, oh me of little faith. It was only back in October I spoke life into Blossom, another gerbil, who died. Then I had faith, this time I wavered. The good thing is, she lives! :clap:

This one really speaks to me.. these days being in the sun is deadly with UV rays.. and skin cancers on such a big increase.. especially in Australia where it is quite hot in many places and because many Aussies are outdoors alot!!

To think of GOD as the sun but also a shield in the same sentence speaks of protection from the elements from nature and from the normal things that destroy people who do not know about GOD.. We all know about the warming of the planet due to forests being destroyed etc.. God is saying we are protected from the damage that normal people suffer while even within this world.. despite the way the world is right now and how it affects us..
ie ..cancers to the skin.. too much sun causes droughts and dries the land out and all suffer from that yet God protects His own because HE is everything to us.. etc

GOD is saying I am not going to destroy my own but take care of them despite the world and how even the elements seems to be against creation..

Halleujah glory to GOD!

The sun coming up in the morning... restores the world from darkness..
The sun in its fullness is deadly without protection and yet with wisdom and care.. it can be harnessed for power!!

The sun shines and brings light to things..
The sun makes things grow... and keeps the world going.. photosynthesis..

Photosynthesis means.. "putting together
with light."

Isn't that cool.. God created the world!
God is light.. and in HIM there is no darkness..

Ha.. so much you have brought to light by only one little offshoot of what you orginally shared.. glory to GOD!

This is one of the most dearest scriptures to me.

John 14:21 The one who has My commands and keeps them is the one who loves Me. And the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father. I also will love him and will reveal Myself to him." 22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, "Lord, how is it You're going to reveal Yourself to us and not to the world?"
23 Jesus answered, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word. My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. HCSB

I want to see Jesus. I want Him revealed to me. As I have acted on this scripture, keeping His commands, I have seen Him. Not with my physical eyes, but evidences, and by the spirit. I KNOW He is here, and His love is so real to me. This is of greater value to me than anything else - to think He will make His home in me.

Am I really making a home for Him? Am I seeing Him in my life? If this is waning, could it be I am not keeping His Word?

a budgie is a parakeet...

great news for the li'l gerbil.....i've prayed over my pets and other creatures as well...they are a special blessing from God, aren't they?

Yes, they are. And don't you find that we can learn from them? Well, not really from them, but the Lord has, as is His custom still through parables, using my animals.

Thanks for defining budgies. You know I couldn't even find it in the dictionary? Maybe it is Aussie.

Ha.. yes little colored birds.. they are popular pets here in Australia.. Ours are yellow and blue.. Budgies are native to Australia.. but the wild ones are all green with yellow markings.. they blend in with the green foliage and green grass..

They are fantastic scriptures Cindy.. yes we have seen the LORD with our SPIRITS.. I see HIM in you.. you know!!

I think when we take our hands off.. don't try to force it.. it seems to work better.. faith that is.. in rest.. strangely enough not in the human knowing.. I know that sounds funny.. but hmm.. there is a faith isn't there that you can sense apart from what you know personally.. Hard to explain but I know now what they mean by not enough faith.. People get so weeird when you say that.. but you know if they don't hear the word daily... meditate on it.. you just really cannot have faith.. because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of GOD!!

brinny said budgies are parakeets, as we know them. If that is so, we have them in pet stores. They're common birds here, but not wild. I've never seen any, nor heard of them being wild. I guess they're imported form Australia.

When I was a little girl my mother bought me 2 or 3 canaries, a little yellow bird a bit smaller than a parakeet (budgie) that loves to sing, maybe b/c she had a little girl who loved to sing. She may have chosen them for me b/c there was a song waaay back then called "Yellow Bird" that I loved to sing as a girl of not even 5 years of age. Somehow word got out, probably Mom, and I sang it over the radio. Later we had canaries.

We call them budgies here in the UK too not called parakeets but they are all pets I had one as a child, we thought was a boy, who said "Tommy is a good boy", only problem later we found out she was a girl.
Praying for Justin to have that encounter with Jesus.

So much exciting news here! Birds, faith and Kenneth Copeland!

My husband is at church (I just can't go there right now) while the girls and I goof around on this rainy Saturday afternoon. They had an overnight guest yesterday and are rather tired today.

Has anyone heard of or listened to Tracy Evans? She's a missionary from Bethel that has an AMAZING life story. Everything from being a homeless teen to being a hostage in the middle east, to living among the poorest of the poor in Africa. Her stories touch my heart because she lives out the gospel message in a way few ever do. And yet, even she questions if she has surrendered everything in her life enough. Does Christ have all of her heart? Does He have all of mine?

All I want is to live the rest of my life in a way that glorifies and reflects Jesus. Nothing else is important to me, nothing else matters.

I haven't been posting as much, but I love you all. Have a great weekend! Ral

You've both been missed lately.

I love your thoughts, ral. I am with you, sister, to live a life that glorifies the Lord. I sang to Him as I drove to work today, prayed in the spirit while I was setting up (making mimosa ^_^

), and have been having the best time. I began the day in the Word as always.

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. Ephesians 1:3

Irene, we had an incident with a gerbil like you. We started out with two girls, which we named Mary and Martha. Later we had to change Mary's name to Mark.

Breakthrough news here... praise the LORD... Ha.. my mother in law Pat is on face book.. I have tried for many years to have contact with her.. emails unanswered.. text messages unanswered.. letters unanswered.. sent gifts.. etc.. the list goes on and on..

I was so shocked to see her on there.. She has said to my husband via a mobile phone message... I cannot go on there.. because I had asked.. LOL..
He and her probably contact each other a few times.. maybe you can count on one hand how many times a year.. No phonecalls to grandkids.. nothing...

I have prayed and believed for years.. and today she has joined face book which makes it so easy for her and us.. and her other family members on there to contact with her.. I have two of her sisters as friends.. amazing..

I had a difficult evening.. and went to bed crying.. LOL.. and speaking to GOD and praying in the SPIRIT and then I wake up and see this.. HALLEUJAH.. Glory to GOD.. I said by faith she would join to my husband.. wanting it so bad.. because three of my children are on there.. so is my husband and I.. his brothers wife.. etc..

PRAISE THE LORD!!

I will join you Cindy in these.. we should have a list posted every so often of all current prayer needs and things that we can stand in faith and agreement with.. so we can all readily commit each other to prayer and stand side by side of each other!!

The more prayer together the better don't you think!! And of course there is going to be long list forming of all the answers.. because the prayer of faith moves mountains and what we ask for we receive!!

Today we are getting more lovely lovely rain.. HALLEUJAH!! Soaking rain.. light but the ground is staying damp.. a beautiful green tinge is coming across the ground around our city.. Only thing is I have to walk our area and deliver those fun store catalogs we all love to receive.. LOL.. I do have an umberella!!

Ohhh the rain on drought stricken land and dry hard earth is heavenly!!

We are in need of rain here, and scattered showers are in the forecast. That means it may and it may not rain.

I am off for 3 days! :clap:

Finally, my hours are cut back a bit. Oh, I've forgotten to tell you all, but I am feeling very good! I only had adverse reactions that one day, and each day I've been feeling better. The spot on my arm is getting lighter. It went from raw to a scab, and now the scab has fallen off. It's pink now, not red.

My knee has been hurting quite bad, and I am zeroing in on it. I thank Jesus for He is my Healer.

We also continue to believe for pc's hearing to be perfect.

Isn't it good to know the Father loves you?
Who is the one who loves Jesus?

John 14:15 "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.
John 14:21 "He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me;
John 14:23 Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word;

The one who loves Jesus is the one who obeys Him.
If we say we love Him and keep not His Word, we are kidding ourselves.
