We know Zub b/c he has been in our fellowship for some years now. He's not the new kid on the block. We've read many, many of his posts and know where he is coming from. It is you we do not know yet, only what we can ascertain from your 3 posts so far. Zub is not far from the mark in what he has said. There is much we would like to know about you, and I believe you have good things to share that will edify believers. Please, share those, not words that poison.

he has had so many under the table slander cases .. he spent thousands of dollars of his ministry money defending his attacks against other ministers. i know much well of what i am talking about. and i am not a stranger.. why should we all listen to u ? who are u?

My name is Ben, and I am a consultant by day and a pastor by night, planting a church in the east end of London. My website is www.treeoflifechurch.org.uk and my blog is treeoflifelondon.wordpress.org.

You are a stranger to me. I don't know your name or your history or anything about you. I don't listen to strangers when they tell me to avoid someone or tell me bad information about someone.

You don't have to listen to me at all. But I am not the one saying run away from a certain ministry.

Have I heard of Jim Kaseman? No. What I know about him is that he was involved with Rhema and also with Craig. That means it is going to take a lot to convince me to run away from him, because he already has two very strong counts of being very sound.

Listen, if you really have a genuine concern about the man then you need to have two or three witnesses because he is an elder. When you have that and you are prepared to explain your history, then I will be willing to take the time to listen to your concern.

I am not trying to be offensive and rude, I am trying to learn why you would think that making a single slanderous comment would be appropriate or sufficient.

I, and many other people with a Word of Faith background, have encountered people who will never listen to two sides of any story. Someone says Kenneth Copeland, or whichever preacher is target of the month, said x, then these people will be reposting this all over the internet without ever purchasing the relevant tape and actually listening to him. Maybe you are not doing such a thing, maybe you have first hand experiences of the abuses that you cite. If so, then you need to explain this to people because we are not in the habit of condemning people on the say so of gossip.

Second hand evidence is not legal in a court of law in your country or mine, so why should your testimony be valid. Even if you had a valid warning for your fellow Christians, your current attitude is not proving that you are someone I should be willing to.

Blessings,
|ZZ|

PS Bless you Cindy. I still feel like the new kid on the block... !!! :D

Jim Kaseman played a part in starting my old church back in Minneapolis, in way...about 26 years ago. He is awesome! that church is now on TV and 10,000 members strong when I moved away. A place where Copeland, Duplantis,...all those guys come and go in a revolving door.

Thanks Jim!

I first became familiar with Jim Kaseman back in the early '90's. At that time, he and his brothers had pioneered over 300 churches. One of my best friends was licensed through AFCM.

He's about as WoF as they come-- with an emphasis on practical Christian living.

This is actually untrue. Jim Kaseman has broke with many people that belong to Word of Faith. For example:

Jim Kaseman broke fellowship with Living Word Christian Center in Minnesota (who owns and runs CFAITH) senior Pastor Mac Hammond. I have met Jim many times and he is a good man.

Jim has nothing to do with that church anymore (LWCC).

Well in the 19 years I went to LWCC, Jim having nothing to do with us is news to me. I have emailed my pastor with the inquiry, I'll see what Mac says about it I guess. Since it wasn't too long ago Jim visited....?

he still played a part in pioneering the church. And today the church is still strong and Godly. Either way.

HI Iafic!
The break in fellowship has to do with Mac's version of Abrahams Bosom. LWCCs position on this matter is that practicing jews upon death will be brought to Abrahams Bossom and receive another chance to receive Christ. Jim did not agree with this and the matter became heated enough that fellowship was broken. If you look, LWCC no longer belongs to AFCM (a small Living Word Church in Redwood Falls does).

This would have happen about two years or so ago. I was staff at LWCC for a few years.

if you were staff for years, then I know you. PM me...what's your name?

Still sticking to my point, that even if there is a disagreement in doctorine...to the newbie who posted...doesn't mean to run far away from Jim. I disagreed with a thing or two mac said too...doesn't mean I am to be avoided.

Hi Iafic!
I never meant to come off that one should run away from Jim! Jim is a great man and has done much for the church. The first Pentecostal/WOF church I ever atteneded was in SW Minnesota called Living Word Church..much smaller of course than LWCC in Brooklyn Park:)

Oh no, not you. I had said "to the newbie that posted"...they said earlier to run from Jim!!!

I loved LWCC. Had a problem with a few people or two, as in any church. But Mac...I practically grew up with him...he is neat man. I hope he stays as humble as I know him to be and keeps his eyes on God and not the ministry.

BTW, LWCC wouldn't comment on Jim, they only offered me the cassette (at $5 plus shipping) to hear Mac's announcement concerning it.

When did you attend LWCC? I was on staff from 2003-2007.

I was one of the "original 12" as they called us. We went there when it was just Lynnes Bible Study. So I was there day one. I went there for about 19 years up until about 2002, I THINK. Because I then moved to Florida in 2003. So, I musta just missed you then.
