Out of the non-religious risky professions (this would exclude things like missionary), if you had to choose to work one, what would it be? U could be a fireman, a policeman, army soldier, anything.
I'd be a rescue worker in counties like Cambodia or Thailand - to rescue young women from the plight of prostitution and sex slavery. Due to political and social corruption, that would make the work pretty risky.
thats actually like something i wanted to do when i was younger. But i was hoping to open an orphanage for girls in India or somewhere to get them out of abusive situations or get them before any abuse could start... and being not only a Christian but a white woman in India doing something like that... uh yeah that would be pretty risky.
One of my friends currently does this line of work, the more preventative stuff and she LOVES IT. I, on the other hand, would feel more of a calling to get right in the midst of it.
Wow... what an experience that would be, for either of us.
definitely, and who knows? God may still open those doors for us yet to get involved
I would like very much to be a professional stuntwoman.
I'd be a secret service agent.
This kind of thought never entered my mind when i thought up this thread, but definitely a risky and interesting line of work it would be. I can imagine your directors being like "Uhhh.. yea. All you have to do is hold this... Oh, no, dont worry. At least i dont think it will hurt that much."
lol. *pictures luther at a bar investigating, while trying to appear as if he is invisible* "Ah, sir, would you like a drink?" "......." "Yoohoo. Yea, you, in the corner... with the black suit. You want something or not?" "I'm not here." "Look, sir. There's no loitering. Either you order something or you get out." "I'm invisible. You can't see me. Now quit asking me questions." "............ *calls bouncer*" "*Sees bouncer and waves arms in squiggly invisible person fashion, then promptly gets removed from bar*"
