A tiger usually indicates danger of some kind. He is sleeping in your closet - could mean a dangerous secret. Feeding that tiger could possibly mean to indulge in a secret sin - the truth is that it is dangerous and wild, and the truth will out eventually - and keeping a tiger in your closet and feeding it would be like playing with fire - you're going to get burned eventually - you're just delaying it by feeding the tiger to keep it SEEMINGLY under your control.

The dream seems to me like a warning - this is not some little calico cat in your closet; it's a dangerous wild animal, and you really need to get it out of there!! Time to call "animal control"~~

A tiger, or any big cat, in a dream could mean 'sneaky predator'. The color orange could mean 'warning'.

When I get dreams about large animals, I am usually overloaded at work. Feeling like large entities are encroaching, invading on my territory, prowling too closely for comfort.

You appeased the animal, finding a civil way to get it off your back.

Being up in the closet makes me think that it's an issue you don't have to deal with very often, and are able to set it aside -- like taxes due by April! And the neatly cut box of fish, an accountant to the rescue. (-;
