Alright, here we go. Romans 9:13 "As it is written, Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated." That seems pretty clear. Is it because Esau was evil? Let's see. Romans 9:11&12 (for the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works but of Him who calls) it was said to her(Rebecca), "The older shall serve the younger." Now see verse 13 above.
This tells us a couple things. First, God does hate some people. Second, it has nothing to do with the person. Third, some are chosen for salvation, others are not. Fourth, this decision has, again, nothing to do with us. It is of God, not our works.
Yes but we must choose God while we are still alive here on earth.
No. Ephesians 2:4&6 "But God because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus." We are dead and unable to make that choice. He makes those He elects and loves alive and raises us up to become His children.
Now keeping this in mind, would you invite those who hate, curse you, and your family, refuse to follow any rules, into your home to live forever?
As Christ was being crucified, He looked to the heavens and said, "Forgive them Father for they know not what they do." He certainly did die and rise for those who hated Him. Saul of Tarsus is a wonderful example of that.
