I thought you wanted to be Spicy's BFF.. I'm....SO....confused! :help:

:p

Sneaky. I want to be Spicy's BFF09. Keep up! :p

Why do people keep getting Norfolk? Norfolk is kinda ghetto

And it's the world's largest naval base so unless you like getting hit on by Sailors and Marines it's really not the place for you :p

I'm going to take that quiz now.

Maybe the quiz assumes that women like to be hit on? lol.

Visited for any length of time, or been through while going somewhere else? I've been through almost every state, but I haven't really visited but a few.

I've visited: Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arizona, Georgia.

lol Yeah.

It's a nice state, but I didn't like it that much.

Sorry, Mina. :/

Louisiana has been my favorite state so far, but I just don't know if it's realistic for me to live there because of hurricanes and all that. :/

I am used to tornados. I was afraid of them for a long time but it is true what they say about Okies... we really do stand out on our porches, decks, etc and see if we can see them.

But I put Earthquakes because I have seen pictures of the damage caused by Earthquakes and all I can say is I would hate to be driving on a highway when an Earthquake hit... because some of them will just cause the entire highway to collapse.
On the other hand Hurricanes are terrible as well... I can't even imagine a 50ft surf heading towards my home. But sometimes with hurricanes you can have up to a week or more sometimes to get ready for a hurricane... where as tornados you have anywhere from a couple hours to less than 5 minutes depending on where you live... and Earthquakes there is no warning it just happens and there is no way to know how bad it's going to be until it's over.

Out of the two that are listed, I would have to say Earthquakes are worse. First anything that shakes the foundation around you and topples buildings and bridges and can also start other catastrophes like tidal waves is pretty darn bad.

I think I've found where I'm going to live.

After some more prayer, I decided I still want to live in Louisiana.

And after some research, I think I've decided on Lafayette, Louisiana.

Whatcha think? Anyone been there?

I've been once and remember that it was incredibly beautiful.

Hot...

You may think that but nothing prepares you for a hurricane. If you think it's a walk in the park to hear and feel 100+ mph winds for several hours and worry if you will survive then you have another thing coming.

I don't ever want to go through another hurricane. Alicia and Ike were enough.

By the way Ike has become the costliest hurricane to hit the US that has been recorded. Looks like Galveston got it again.

Assuming you are looking at an equal amount of violence to it. (IE we arn't comparing a Earthquake that is 2 on the richter scale vs a Cat 5 hurricane)

Earthquake... because earthquakes are less predictable. If a hurricane is coming, at least you have advance notice... and can go somewhere else until it's over.

Thats a good point.

But also while dangerous and destructive, hurricanes really just don't cause the destruction that a quake does.
