This is the garbage that is out in the WORLD trying to tear down Christians.. they try to trick us into mental religious chaos. I pray for all Christians that we hold tight to our faith in Christ and stand firm in Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

As Christians, we do not have a "religion" we have a RELATIONSHIP with GOD. We are Forigiven, Accepted and Adored.

I THANK GOD FOR ALL OF YOU!

AS YOUR LOVE AND MY LOVE IS IN HIM..
OUR LOVE IS IN EACH OTHER!

GOD BLESS YOU

With Love,

So, I was going to resist, but I've opted to say my piece. My question to you is... have you ever read Galatians 2 or 1 Corinthians 8 thoroughly? In Galatians 2, Paul jumps all over Peter for handling meat with the Gentiles one way and handling meat with the Jews another. In 1 Corinthians, Paul says...

So then, about eating food sacrificed to idols: We know that an idol is nothing at all in the world and that there is no God but one. For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many "gods" and many "lords"), yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live. (vv.4-6)

Now, I will note he does add the caveat that we should be careful for the sake of those who it might be a stumbling block for. However, with that said, what difference does it really make if I drink their coffee or not? Answer me that.

Dagon was a major northwest Semitic god, reportedly of grain and agriculture. He was worshipped by the early Amorites and by the inhabitants of the cities of Ebla and Ugarit (which was an ancient city near the Mediterranean containing a large variety of ancient writings and pagan shrines). He was also a major member, or perhaps head, of the pantheon of the Biblical Philistines.

His name appears in Hebrew as דגון (in modern transcription Dagon, Tiberian Hebrew Dāḡôn), in Ugaritic as dgn (probably vocalized as Dagnu), and in Akkadian as Dagana, Daguna usually rendered in English translations as Dagan.
