We both had the same sweater/jumper on !

Thought i would share a kinda weird dream i had, I am not sure if there is anything in it.. maybe someone might have some insights about it ?

I had a recent dream where I was sitting in a room with a former teacher on the ground the former teacher was sitting slightly in front of me. He turned around and I looked at his arm and he asked me, "What is it?" and I said, "We are both similar". I noticed we both were wearing the same sweater that was white with purple patches on it.. I am not certain why i said we are both similar (other than the obvious fact we were both clothed similar).. kinda interesting given the circumstances.. the end

What did you think of this teacher when he was your present teacher? What did you see then and what do you see now as his strength and weaknesses?
At least indoors, a sweater is an outer garment. This suggests to me that your dream is trying to tell you that there are resemblances that are (or would be) pretty obvious; but which you'd be the "last to notice." You may find these good, they may upset you, or they may do both in some degree.
I'll leave you to come up with your own associations for white and purple, as I distrust "this always means that" interpretations. By the way, how did the sweater look? Was it something you might consider wearing in the waking world, or something you'd rather not be caught dead in?

The sweater would be something i would consider wearing.. However for some reason the purple patches on the white sweater were a bit scratchy and this annoys the overall look of the sweater..

The sweater you are wearing could relate to a job or position, perhaps something new or something old you want to undertake or are involved in.

For instance I recall a story about a guy who was a youth leader and they were praying for his role in the church and during that evening nothing happened or came of it. As he went to leave the house he went to put his coat on and realised it didnt fit and infact he had picked up the wrong coat.

Just my reading of it.

You know you might be on to something, actually i applied to undertake honours and this former teacher would be my supervisor if I'm to agree to go back to that university.. I am not certain whether to go back and undertake the honours year with him being my supervising teacher.. this could be related i think.. any help ?

Actually, he didn't seem to notice we had the same sweater on until I pointed it out and told him, "We are both similar". After that I don't really recall he had much of a reaction he was just silent when i said that.

In the dream I didn't seem to mind that we both had the same sweater on, however it did surprise me a little..

Maybe ask him out of curiousity if he has a faith?

You said you both had the same jumper just made me wonder.

Also with my story regarding the youth leader it was the fact he had infact out grown his youth ministry and that was why the symbol that he felt reflected that in the coat not fitting.

Actually, I was thinking it could be this too.. but as far i know he is unbeliever for now (I would need to check to confirm this).. but perhaps it's a prophecy dream..
