Aliyah fairs planned as record number of Israelis abroad returning
After reporting a substantial rise in the number Israeli citizens wanting to return home due to the global financial crises and the number of Jews wishing to make aliyah by moving to Israel for the first time, two Jewish agencies plan to hold special aliyah fairs in hopes of encouraging tens of thousands of Jews to move to Israel. Recent data shows a 50% increase in the number of Israelis that have returned in recent months compared to last year. In addition, 9,000 Israelis abroad have announced their intention to return to Israel over the coming year, all due to the economic crisis. The Jewish Agency and the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption will unveil a new plan for tax relief as incentive for returning Jews at fairs to be held in key cities in the US, England, and Canada. Employers in the Jewish state will be able to present job availabilities in many fields such as engineering, finance, police work, sales and banking.

Isaiah 60 :

4 "Lift up your eyes and look about you:
All assemble and come to you;
your sons come from afar,
and your daughters are carried on the arm.
5 Then you will look and be radiant,
your heart will throb and swell with joy;
the wealth on the seas will be brought to you,
to you the riches of the nations will come.

The amazing 80’s group ABC once asked a question about financial planning. They asked, “Tell me! tell me! How to be a millionaire?” According to fresh data, the answer may just be to come live in Israel. There used to be a not so funny joke that went like this. ” How do you become a millionaire living in Israel? You come to Israel with $2 million!” Hah Hah! I told you it’s not such a funny joke.
According to the 12th annual World Wealth Report issued by Merrill Lynch and Capgemini, ” the number of the country’s millionaires grew by 13.6 percent in 2007, more than double the global millionaires’ growth rate of 6%, to a total of 8,200.”

And those opportunities are not lost on foreign investors. It would be an interesting to see how many foreigners have become millionaires or multi-millionaires by investing in Israel. With the amount of foreign investment that has been flowing into Israel, I suspect that that number must be pretty high as well.

Funny how when I make it easy for people to get the point by highliting with color and larger font people dont seem to appreciate it.

Especially when what I post is irrefutable the only thing they can do is complain about the font ......LOL

Icej isn't a news site, and I can't even find even find what you're referencing on their website. The link in your post didn't work, and I had to Google the website. Even if the article exists, which I'm doubting at this point; the website is inherently biased, find me a less biased source and then we'll talk.

Big fonts are really really fun!

Happy Holydays Everybody!!

OK if we must derail ;)

It aint over til its over baby

Even Obama is not stupid enough to trash our flag.

http://12angrymen.wordpress.com/2007/05/01/the-true-meaning-of-the-confederate-flag/

Hear the Northern thunders mutter!
Northern flags in South winds flutter!
To arms ! To arms! To arms, in Dixie!
Send them back your fierce defiance!
Stamp upon the accursed alliance!
To arms ! To arms! To arms, in Dixie!
Advance the flag of Dixie
Hurrah! Hurrah!
For Dixie’s land we take our stand,
And live or die for Dixie!
To Arms! To Arms!
And conquer peace for Dixie
To Arms! To Arms
And conquer peace for Dixie
The Battle Flag of the Confederacy, quite possibly one of the most controversial symbols of our times. Often maligned, often praised, often misnamed (it is not, in fact, the flag of the Confederate States of America, that honor lies with the Stars and Bars), it has once again reached the national foreground thanks to the recent debates in South Carolina. During the debates Senator Obama was asked where was an appropriate place for the flag (which currently graces the front lawn of the Capitol in Columbia). He replied, “In a museum.”
I have to applaud Obama’s stance on the issue, especially since he was very clear about where he stood, but I am left wondering why my presidential favorite wants to retire the Battle Flag. His statements have generated a lot of support and controversy, and already many bloggers are using this as a chance to reexamine the old issue of what exactly the Battle Flag stands for. Unfortunately some are repeating the same baseless accusations of racism.
I’ve known many people who have flown the Battle Flag, and none of them are racist. The entire State of Mississippi has been flying it over all of their government buildings since 1894. Texas flies the Stars and Bars at every governmental building as well (along with the other five flags to have flown over Texas). The reason behind the desire to honor symbols of the Confederacy is not racism. It instead stems from a regional identity and the noble notions of state sovereignty.

Huckabee Says Flying Confederate Flag a State Issue

PH2008011702137.jpg

The Confederate flag still flies on the grounds of the S.C. state capitol. (Reuters).
By Perry Bacon Jr.
FLORENCE, S.C. -- Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee is taking a different tone from his rival, Arizona Sen. John McCain on a controversial issue: the display of the Confederate flag.
"You don't want people from outside the state coming in and telling you what to do with your flag," Huckabee said in Myrtle Beach. "If somebody came to Arkansas and told us what to do with our flag, we'd tell 'em what to do with the pole."

In 2000, McCain said he thought the display of the flag on the Capitol dome was a statewide issue. After the campaign, he has said that the flag should actually not be displayed there.
Earlier this week in South Carolina, McCain said he "could not be more proud of the majority of the people of this state" who had backed his view that the flag should not be displayed.
In July 2000, the state passed a law removing the flag from atop the dome, but it remains on statehouse grounds.

I wasn't trying to derail. That's my sig, man.

But as long as we're talking about it...I agree with our Presdient elect. I belongs in a museum. But that's just me. I'd right for the right of any private citizen to display any flag they wanted on their own private property - no matter how much I may or may not despise the oppressive values of the regime it represents.

And big fonts are really fun!
