Hi there! My name is Kellie. I am from Alabama, USA. I have come to realize that the rest of the world doesn’t operate just as our culture does here in the United States. I am here to make new friends, learn from you as individuals about your ways of life, and see what I have been missing out on from other parts of the world. I am for ALL input, differences good and bad, it’s the only way I will truly learn from you.

There are language boundaries (meanings of words) which leave conversations wide open for miscommunication, so if you become offended, please give the benefit of doubt that I am not trying to insult you, I will do the same. I came to the CF so that I could do this in a caring and Christian manner.

There are several different regions in here and all are welcome, although I do only speak English. I hope to hear from you!!

hey kel_ee
I'm from germany, new here, and while looking through the posts in "other regions" I found yours. And I thought we have something in common. I want to learn from other cultures, too. Ok maybe the difference between the culture from germany and USA is not so big........ no matter.
If you'd like to talk with me (in spite of the fact that you opened this thread 2 years ago)
- here I am. :)

(oh - and my english is not very good -
please correct me/it if something is incorrect)

Yeah sure , you're right.
There is a difference. I just think it isn't as large as the difference between for example china and germany.
But maybe it's a wrong assumption. To err is human.;)
But.... there are also Germans who like to eat pretzel with jelly. :)

What to do in a tavern after church services ?
Eat? . Interesting. ...but ....why not ?
