It seems that if I look into next weeks bulletin, our parish and those around it all have activities going on all weekend. Which is rather sad because I want to attend them all and I can't. *L*
- We will definitely go to the Orthodox Church of the Holy Apostles here on saturday because they have a Saint Nicholas celebration. Being Belgian, Saint Nicholas is very important to me and I want Joseph to be introduced to him early.
- Later in the afternoon on Saturday there is a family celebration in three parts in our church. The Saturday vigil mass will have the Viking Singers adding their voices to the liturgy. Then after that there is the Christmas drop in and after that there is an hour in Church with Christmas carols and international readings. I've been asked to read in Dutch, so we will definitely attend that one.
- On sunday then there is the installation mass of the new officers of our womens group (at 8.30 am. Shudders). Since I've been elected vice president, I will of course have to attend this mass instead of our usual 10.30.

There are other carol services and carol learning oportunities at other parishes, advent pennance service in yet another, then there is a Christkindlmarket that, being from Europe I would love to attend, and much more but we just can't do it all.

So... is this just a coincidence, or are all your parishes busy, busy, busy this weekend?

We aren't that busy at our parish this coming weekend. We had our Christmas Fair two weeks away in November because it took so much planning to do it when the most people were available to help out. I wish there was more stuff going on locally in our parishes :-(
