My internet went down last night. I called to enquire if their were any problems in our area...They informed me my modum was kaput...
Tried to connect a few moments ago and Hallelujah it's in operation again! So I am praying it hangs in there till I get a new one next Monday!

Well it worked, I finally got some real suffering on Dec 2.
That was the night one of the screws came loose on my eyeglasses.
The left lense popped out and fell to the floor of the den. I realized what happened and dropped to my knees on the carpet and started looking for the tiny screw as my lense would not be held in the frame without it.
Well, guess what ?
I never found the screw. It is not even a shaggy carpet- it is flat and firm like a floor. For six hours I looked for that screw. I did a grid seach and moved furniture. I grabbed a powerful lamp at one point and scoured every inch of the floor. Then I finally got the vacuum cleaner and vacuumed the carpet then poured out the bag on a newspaper and and crumpled all the lent and crud looking for the screw.Then I went back through it again.
I never did find that screw... I ended up getting a new one for less than three dollars in a repair kit at Walgreens. I was so frustrated and mad !!

Sorry had to laugh. I would of been mad about the fact of spending all that time looking for it, then you what??? Vacuumed and even emptied and looked for that tiny screw. Sorry again, just had to laugh. I guess you will always keep a repair kit with extra screws handy, now that you discovered how inexpensive it is.I would of given the whole ordeal about 10 min. Of course without a lens in the glasses I assume you couldn't see to much.
Hope the new screws fit.
