We can and do in some places. I did with Winny before, and do with others of y'all too, and I understand what Stormy is saying as well. I just miss my friend and am a little sad at the moment. Forgive my attitude in my posts prior.

There is nothing to forgive. We all find our own ways to say goodbye.

I have the very sad new to tell you....he died this morning in the hospital. He was surrounded by family and loved ones.

He gave me a link well over a year ago to post in the even of his death, and I am deperately searching for it now.

Mods....I am posting this here because this is where Allan spent most of his time, when he came to these boards.

LC

I am very saddened to hear about Allan's passing and he is going to be missed very much. Allan and I spent some time chatting on AOL IM often as he was filling me in from time to time about his CF and transplant possibilities. My deepest sympathies to his family and his girl friend Jessica.

Just wanted to chime in and say that I couldn't approve more of moving the WinAce memorial thread from an archived forum to a more visible location. I never knew him personally, but it's right that this should be somewhere where people can see it.

*sigh* I wish I had known WinAce better. I was acquainted with him through CF. We never spoke one on one. The brief glimpse I did see was remarkably wonderful. He was a good person. A rare find in this world. I really enjoyed reading Jessica's piece about him. I had no idea he had been through so much in his life, aside from being terminally ill. And yet he maintained a sense of compassion and humor and humility.
