'And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.' "Then he said, 'I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father's house, 'for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.' "Abraham said to him, 'They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.' "And he said, 'No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.' "But he said to him, 'If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.'"

Genesis 22:14

Zechariah 12:10

God always has our best interests at heart!

Philemon 1:20
Yes, brother, let me have joy from you in the Lord; refresh my heart in the Lord.

The Day of the Lord

1Now as to the (A)times and the epochs, brethren, you (B)have no need of anything to be written to you. 2For you yourselves know full well that (C)the day of the Lord will come (D)just like a thief in the night.
3While they are saying, "(E)Peace and safety!" then (F)destruction will come upon them suddenly like (G)labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape.
4But you, brethren, are not in (H)darkness, that the day would overtake you (I)like a thief;
5for you are all (J)sons of light and sons of day We are not of night nor of (K)darkness;
6so then let us not (L)sleep as (M)others do, but let us be alert and [a](N)sober.
7For those who sleep do their sleeping at night, and those who get drunk get (O)drunk at night.
8But since (P)we are of the day, let us (Q)be [b]sober, having put on the (R)breastplate of (S)faith and love, and as a (T)helmet, the (U)hope of salvation.
9For God has not destined us for (V)wrath, but for (W)obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
10(X)who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him.

Christian Conduct

12But we request of you, brethren, that you (Z)appreciate those (AA)who diligently labor among you, and (AB)have charge over you in the Lord and give you instruction, 13and that you esteem them very highly in love because of their work. (AC)Live in peace with one another.
14We urge you, brethren, admonish (AD)the unruly, encourage (AE)the fainthearted, help (AF)the weak, be (AG)patient with everyone.
15See that (AH)no one repays another with evil for evil, but always (AI)seek after that which is good for one another and for all people.

17(AK)pray without ceasing;
18in everything (AL)give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:14-17
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. sin is and what its consequences will be!
All People are Treated Equally!!

Ps 41:2 The LORD will protect him and preserve his life; he will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of his foes.

1 My son, if you will take my words to your heart, storing up
my laws in your mind;
2 So that your ear gives attention to wisdom, and your heart
is turned to knowledge;
3 Truly, if you are crying out for good sense, and your request
is for knowledge;
4 If you are looking for her as for silver, and searching for her
as for stored-up wealth;
5 Then the fear of the Lord will be clear to you, and knowledge
of God will be yours.
6 For the Lord gives wisdom; out of his mouth come knowledge
and reason:
7 He has salvation stored up for the upright, he is a breastplate
to those in whom there is no evil;
8 He keeps watch on the ways which are right, and takes care
of those who have the fear of him.
