Christ-like behavior indeed. I think you've solidified my point.

I also see you've felt it necessary to vividly illustrate precisely why they're closing General Apologetics. Veiled behind all the pseudological arguments, the appeals to emotion, and the closed-minded rationale of many non-Christian posters on GA is a simple desire to ridicule Christians. Participation on the forum is not about searching for truth, but insulting a group of people that you happen to not like. And when you are silenced by the closure of this forum...well, there's always small-minded profanity to give yourself a false sense of importance.

Of course there are a few posters for which the above doesn't apply, and I am sorry that the majority took away your ability to engage in sincere dialog with Christians.

Oh come here Arunma...you were my first NCR friend and I want to give you a hug.!!

Can I ask what this medal is for?
In Hoc Signo Vinces - By this Sign Conquer.

Before his last battle at the Milvian Bridge with the Emporer Maxentius, Constantine reportely had a vision to put the sign of the cross on his Soldier's Shields. He said that if he did this he would win. He put the sign on the shields and he won the battle and became sole Emperor of the entire Roman Empire.

Shortly after the battle he legalized the Christian religion and ended the Empire wide persecution that had begun under the Emporer Diocletian.

Before he died, he was baptised as the first Christian Emperor.

You may say that I ought not judge non-Christians...

Actually, I think your Jesus said that, but I could be wrong, and couldn't care less.

As for all the forums where Christians continuely lose debates, I'm not surprised they're being closed. Bad for the old recruiting numbers ya know.

With so many (forums) closing, I am sort of feeling like I'm standing on a sandbar with the tide coming in.

Actually, I think your Jesus said that, but I could be wrong, and couldn't care less.

Apparently you could, because you felt it necessary to mention it. Again we have the problem of people cutting apart the word of God and piecing it back together to make abominations. Jesus said this,
If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day. (John 12:47-48)
I have judged no one. Jesus Christ, on the other hand, has condemned to hell people who don't believe in him. If you take issue with this, then your issue is not with me but with God. And I sense that you do care, since you bothered to object to what I said. It would be so much easier to go on believing that Jesus never condemned anyone to hell by believing in revisionist history. Yet the Bible clearly teaches this, and I hope that you won't use childish ridicule as a defense mechanism to ignore this fact.

Greetings,

Y'know, no such announcement has yet been made official. Nonetheless, whatever the future might bring, I will be here until I am no longer allowed. Today is no different from yesterday, or any other day since I first signed on. There are people here from whom I can learn, and possibly, some who might learn from me.

Perhaps this is the image people have of NCR sub-forum:

Granted, the last song actually played is disputed, but one book, "Titanic: Destination Disaster" expressed it wonderfully;
One irrefutable fact, however, remains: the musicians stayed until all hope of rescue was gone. Who can say how many lives their efforts saved? The final moments of how many were cheered or ennobled by their music? 'Songe d'Automne' or 'Autumn.' 'Horbury' or 'Bethany'. What difference? The memory of the bandsmen and their courageous music will never die.

Warmest regards and brightest blessings,
-- Druweid

Arunma, keep up the good work. I am proud of you. Thanks for speaking the truth of Christian Gospel. None of the atheist can debate a Christian, because Christian will argue matters that don't matter to the atheist. Christian will present arguments based on theology where atheist in his own words could care less about, and tries to draw a conclusion hopping from one ever changing "logical" argument to another... One hi-speed says "Those without an argument will always seek a way to shutdown a debate." Like we have no argument, or that they ever debate other than one sentence sarcasms! When we present reasons and arguments of faith and the evidence for our faith, something that doesn't mean anything to the atheist, I guess we are "losing" that debate because we are not on the frequency. Then as seen in example, they would get all wound up because their fruitless mockery, whining will come to an end.

I, for one, am glad that by this method, most of the atheist trolls would be eliminated from wasting people's time. People like Art or Dru who have shown that they can ask genuine questions among all the fruitless fighting will have more space to inquire and learn...

I may ask the question: If some can party others cannot attend and some may be not able to attend the party, will it be a good idea to celebrate anything at all?
This whole life is a very big place for everyone to see that we are all involved in but we spent hundreds of years to understand that we can creat happiness and we can live peacefully accepting each other with pure kind hearts of our own.
And as you all can see that the money people spent years to collect is gone in seconds in this universal financial crisis to understand that it is not the religion that destroyed the world, it is the selfishness and pride people have, let them now wrap the gifts for the poor with the worthless money they have.
The Almighty shook the world but the world seems to be not able to wake up. Allah/God/YHWH spoke to people in their language the language of money but still they won't wake up? When are they going to wake up then?
Green stock means heaven and red stock means hell, to that level people reached. That money that went away is what they had to give to the poor but they are so greedy to do that so He took the money against their will. Taxes people pay to the governments, what are they for? If homeless people are still homeless and houseless. What the taxes for?
When the whole world is happy then it might be the right time for us to celebrate because we will be all invited in this universal party. Till then we have nothing to say but to thank the Almighty that He didn't take our lives in seconds instead of the money.
Our time could be the time of giving the invitation cards for people to read and understand but I still have hope that all this misery will end.
In the Almighty's Power.

Oh clueless one, it would be better to ask what that sentence meant then to make a fool of yourself.

Like all the whining about people hating your religion because they disagree with you?

Silencing debates and criticism of religious beliefs, sets us back to the days of the Medieval Inquisitions.

It looks like LeeD is a scared Christian, who doesn't believe God will protect His followers without strict human intervention.....the same type of thinking the Great Inquisitor subscribed to. What's next, track down where the non-believers live and burn down their houses?

If a belief or opinion has to be protected from honest criticism and robust debate, then that belief or opinion has no merit.

I guess Jesus was wrong when he engaged in open debate and welcomed criticism from non-believers. LeeD's vision has turned all that on it's head.
