how is your mom doing. how long did it take her to recover. did she do physical theraphy after. does she have any restrictions. does she feel like her old self before the pain. and the really big question.....if she had a "do over option"....and she knows what she knows now, would she have the surgery again.

I know that when I went thru the knee replacement, the first two weeks, I was in a lot of pain, but afterwards I was glad that I went thru the surgery.

My mom is still in pain after the low back surgery where they put two plates in. She can only sit up for a few minutes per day. Mostly she lays on the livingroom couch and or her bed watching television. And this surgery was done over two months ago. She is 69 years young.

She has to have another surgery on her low back because she was doing so much coughing after the last surgery, something with the plates need to be fixed. My mom cannot take any pain medication because her stomach cannot handle it. So she suffers with pain instead. I feel real bad for her, she has been through so much!

May the Lord heal you completely, Rosie!
