A servant of the Lord, is not without falling into temptation, the apostle Peter was his downfall, is not to shock but to know that God is not privileged, Paul also acknowledged many times have been wrong. nobody, no human being is infallible, and no human being should prostrate before another human being.

Prayer is not a verse or a poem, but tell the truth, reason is what we think and what they feel and also our purposes,

Let's look at the following example:

Luke 11

1 He was praying in a certain place, and when he had finished, one of his disciples said to him, "Lord, teach us to pray just as John taught his disciples." 2 He said to them, "When you pray, say: Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. 3 Give us each day our daily bread

As you see, is not a poem, If we say, Our Father, we are speaking in the plural and recognizing that God is our Father, and of all human beings, and, for a Father there is nothing better than a good obedient son, we also recognize that our daily bread, our food, depends on God. However, throughout the world are believed more in money than in God. and you see what happens with the current financial crisis affecting the whole world, money is only an instrument that is not God. money is not food, however is bought and sold as if it were ..

4 and forgive us our sins for we ourselves forgive everyone in debt to us, and do not subject us to the final test." God forgives all our sins, provided they also do the same, and if we ask God to let us not into temptation, for our part, should we shirk away from any temptations, let us not tempt. but, if we deliberately go to places of temptation, God will do nothing, because we are looking for.

Paul also acknowledged many times have been wrong

I'd like to see some examples of this in the scripture. It would really help me with something I'm currently going through.

I know of one, possible, when Paul says he does the things he should not do and the things he should not do, he does. Or something like that. i'm just paraphrasing. But if you have others, it would REALY help me.

TIA

These readings are examples of instruction in the Spirit, if ever we fall, we should get up and continue to achieve excellence of God, not of men

Galatians 2

7 On the contrary, when they saw that I had been entrusted with the gospel to the uncircumcised, just as Peter to the circumcised, 8 for the one who worked in Peter for an apostolate to the circumcised worked also in me for the Gentiles, 9 and when they recognized the grace bestowed upon me, James and Cephas and John, who were reputed to be pillars, gave me and Barnabas their right hands in partnership, that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised. 10 Only, we were to be mindful of the poor, which is the very thing I was eager to do. 11 And when Kephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face because he clearly was wrong. 12 For, until some people came from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles; but when they came, he began to draw back and separated himself, because he was afraid of the circumcised. 13 And the rest of the Jews (also) acted hypocritically along with him, with the result that even Barnabas was carried away by their hypocrisy. 14 But when I saw that they were not on the right road in line with the truth of the gospel, I said to Kephas in front of all, "If you, though a Jew, are living like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you compel the Gentiles to live like Jews?"

2 Corinthians 11

21 To my shame I say that we were too weak! 15 But what anyone dares to boast of (I am speaking in foolishness) I also dare. 22 16 Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they descendants of Abraham? So am I. 23 17 Are they ministers of Christ? (I am talking like an insane person.) I am still more, 18 with far greater labors, far more imprisonments, far worse beatings, and numerous brushes with death. 24 Five times at the hands of the Jews I received forty lashes minus one. 25 Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, three times I was shipwrecked, I passed a night and a day on the deep; 26 on frequent journeys, in dangers from rivers, dangers from robbers, dangers from my own race, dangers from Gentiles, dangers in the city, dangers in the wilderness, dangers at sea, dangers among false brothers; 27 in toil and hardship, through many sleepless nights, through hunger and thirst, through frequent fastings, through cold and exposure. 28 And apart from these things, there is the daily pressure upon me of my anxiety for all the churches. 29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is led to sin, and I am not indignant? 30 19 If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness.

This was more so pointing out that Kephas was wrong

2 Corinthians 11

This is more of Paul being weak, not wrong

But, these scriptures sort of help me a bit for what I needed. Not totally, but it was of help.

Thanks

I believe in the Book of Acts there is an example of Paul being "in the flesh" and simply trying to win an argument, rather than being led by Christ.

This was at the time of one of the hearings after he was arrested.

Lets see...

Acts 23

1And Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day.
2And the high priest Ananias commanded them that stood by him to smite him on the mouth.
3Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law?
4And they that stood by said, Revilest thou God's high priest?
5Then said Paul, I wist not, brethren, that he was the high priest: for it is written, Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people.
6But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question. 7And when he had so said, there arose a dissension between the Pharisees and the Sadducees: and the multitude was divided.

I could be wrong, but he seems to be more interested in winning an argument than anything else.
