Good morning!
I plan to do some reading this morning (after I get some housework done first). It is taking me so long to get through "True Devotion To Mary." I don't know why. I always start it then put it down for awhile...then when I get back to it I want to start over cause I forgot where I left off before. Anyone else have that problem? It's not even a long book!! I don't know why it's taking me so long to read it.

Have a good day y'all.

Probably because its sooo deep. I have the same problem with "Dark Night" by John of the cross. Haven't read "True Devotion" cover to cover for over 10 years now but instead do De Monfort's 33 day consecration several times a year which quotes a good bit of "True Devotion" in that. I find I really miss it in the off months. (Which were in now until Nov).

Morning sunshine reps to all. I just started to read a new book yesterday that was gifted to me. Saint Therese of Lisieux "The Story of a Soul". Pretty good book so far. I am sure I will have some "oh my" and "wow" moments while reading, so I am told. Have a Holy Spirit filled day all.

Thanks, guys. Glad to know I am not the only one who does that with books. Yes, True Devotion is deep indeed! I supposed I shouldn't be surprised. In the notes at the beginning, there's a quote from John Paul II that he himself had to read it multiple times to absorb it.

Isabella, I am excited for you, reading The Story of A Soul. What an AWESOME book!!!

"It's Alive!" - brought this thread back from the dead huh... :D

Yup, its that ole spirit of good will. Hard to keep down. ;)

Well thats four reps going out.

I think I get 20 a day so if there is anyone else who needs a rep boost common and post for the fun of it. I give a pretty good wack now.

I know the reps are meaningless as far as being earned by something profound we say here but at the same time they are building up because its nice to give and in the spirit of giving that we come together. :D

And thats the whole point and why reps are edifying. Not for how many you have per se' but for the good will of sharing and fellowshiping.

Not like it costs you anything more than a positive attitude and a click here and there right? :)
