It does?

What natural science was in progress before the first act of creation violated it?

What was science running prior to the appearance of energy?
You're speaking nonsense. There was no 'before.' Before means that there was time. I don't care where you think it was the big bang or ex nihilio, but time only starts existing when the universe started. There was no before, it makes no sense. You are asking what is north of the North Pole. You are asking what television shows people watched in 1891. There are no right answers to your questions.

How would you fund the organization, Tom? These items for sale didn't just show up ex nihilo. And as far as I know, you don't pay $200.00 for a brand new college textbook; like you would in a science bookstore.
Who are you trying to kid AV? you have eyes and you can read, count the items and services for sale on the site,
they are only out to make money, the religious bit is a blind, a come on for suckers.

Religions are businesses, they sell books, DVD's, trinkets and dreams, (and in some cases death)
and they have been businesses for over a thousand years, towns were built to cater to pilgrims,
Henry VIII started his own religion (business) the Church of England, and it owns half of England,
the tens of millions of pounds revenue it collects every year is the envy of most businesses,
and it was all built on nothing more than peoples dreams and fears.

Scientific textbooks cost that much because a lot of work went into making them. Unlike creationist books, you actually can't make stuff up as you go along.
Yeah, and scientists actually go to the trouble of updating their books every once in awhile. ;)

They have to, since they can't get it right the first time. Science runs on trial-and-error, and is its own judge, jury, and executioner.

Well you are not suggesting that religion got it right the first time are you, particularly as there are many religions older than Christianity.

So by our own logic then, Christianity must be wrong

If evolution is a religion why do scientists of all religions accept it? Where do its worshippers gather to practice their religion, who/what do they worship?

I don't think you have thought through what you learnt parrot fashion from your pastor.

Have a think about it and get back to us

Care to provide some examples of textbooks being updated because the scientists "couldn't get it right the first time"? Not that it doesn't happen, but I do think that you severely overestimate the frequency and importance of it.

Nothing is "wrong" with it. The point is, this is their primary goal in setting up these web sites: to make money!

As has been pointed out by Baggins:

Would that be because for decades they had their hands in our pockets? Have the government tax us to fund their junk science?

In your head, only, pal. As far as I can see, one study was funded by NASA in '71 to the tune of less than 100 grand, and that's the extent of government tax involvement in SETI. Prove me wrong, please.

Then they had the gall to ask the general public to help them out with their PCs at home,

You drama queen. *back of hand to forehead* "Ahh, the gall of them. To ask curious people to lend some off-hours processor time from their personal computers while they sleep. When will it end..? I beg of you, with all that is decent and holy, don't destroy my plantation!!!" LOLZ for the image of Alfred E Neuman in Scarlett O'Hara's hoop skirt, though...

after we woke up and dropped their funding like a lead [weather] balloon.

Quick making up carp to suit your argument... Other than one year (1992) under NASA's Microwave Observing Program, using borrowed time on equipment that served other functions, SETI has been running on volunteer time and private money for decades.
Prove me wrong, please; and if you're going to keep whinging like such a big baby about tax money spent, you'd better come up with something significant; in excess of a million dollars.

I was also amazed at how many items for sale were aimed directly at children,
and what chance do the children have when their parents already believe the garbage AiG put out?
why has AiG been allowed to continue unchecked? it can not be good for the US, where is the government?
why has the government not stepped in and treated it as the disease it is?
by that I mean why has the government not started a campaign to ridicule it away?
make it a laughing stock, it would be the easiest thing in the world for the US government to do,
a few well chosen articles in magazines or TV programmes, make it the butt of jokes,
get it so whenever the word creationism is mentioned, people laugh, (as they should)

But I suppose it will never happen, it has already eaten it's way into the US government to the highest level,
or is the government just pandering to the masses? by keeping some of the people religious and stupid,
reasoning that the more stupid the religion, the more stupid the people who believe it, the more control they have.

That is not the government's job.

Making it ridiculous is gilding the lily.

Religion is a tool of statecraft. (e.g. The Church of England)

That is not the government's job.
The governments job is defending the country and acting in the best interest of it's people,
creationism is damaging to America and the American people, and should be stepped on,
they had no trouble stepping on communism, they used every trick in the book in that fight,
but I suppose people believing crazy things are not that much of a threat to the very top people, are they?
they can always import brains.
Making it ridiculous is gilding the lily.
What would you suggest?

'WE' already know that, it's the religious who don't know that, they think religion was 'THEIR' idea.

The governments job is defending the country and acting in the best interest of it's people,...

What ever gave you such a strange idea?

creationism is damaging to America and the American people, and should be stepped on,
Superstitious and ignorant people are more easily controlled.

they had no trouble stepping on communism, they used every trick in the book in that fight,...
That was in the best interests of the folks who vet our politicians and give financial support to their campaigns.

but I suppose people believing crazy things are not that much of a threat to the very top people, are they?
Not if they are the proper and government approved insanities. "Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities." (e.g. Viet Nam and Iraq)

they can always import brains.

If they carefully screen out those with a conscience.

What would you suggest?
If I were younger or richer, I would emigrate.
