nothing to reconcile

I beg to differ.

A fulfilled prophecy implies predestination, or that the future is predetermined. Complete free will implies that we act independently and spontaneously. I see a paradox.

try to imagine this is a 2D world and put something 3D into it. You cant understand it. We live in a 3D world with an infinite D God. Logic and a closed mind wont answer questions

Not to be rude, but I get the impression you are dodging the question with a very dismissive answer - sort of a "Don't worry about it".

Knowing what will happen means one made it happen since when? If i go see a movie i know what will happen. Those who havent seen it do not know what will happen yet they could never claim that I made what happen as a result happen just because I have forknowledge of the outcome.

How do Christians reconcile the idea that people have complete free will, and at the same time believe prophecies have been fulfilled?

Interesting question. Does fulfilling a prohesy automatically equate to predestination?

At this point in my life, my belief is that God has the ultimate call but allows individual choice. Exactly how this works out I cannot explain.

I am afraid I have not answered your question any better than the others. However, I will let you know if I come across a better explanation.

Sincerely,

Actually most people are limited on their thinking, but alot of stuff are things we cant comprehend

Heres what makes it so interesting the bible actually says that our names can be blotted out of the book of life. Which means we were chosen yet we chose not to accept that calling. Yet prophecy is fulfilled. So really its a balance between both fate and freewill. Its a concept we just really cant wrap our minds around.

I apologize if I came off strong, I didnt mean to
