Hmmm I think from the day of a missed period you should be able to tell if pregnant or not but then I heard of some odd cases that some women would keep on getting a negative till they were a few months pregnant.

I got my positive about 3 days after my missed period, but I waited cause I was scared to test. some pregnancy test will even tell you before your missed period.

With most tests on the market now you can get an accurate reading as early as 5 days before your missed period...however those same tests will tell you that if you choose to test before your missed period and you get a negative that you should retest in 7-10 days just to be sure.

When I got pregnant with dd, at 3 days late I got a negative. I went to the dr and got a positive blood test, and a week later when I was 10 days late I tested again on the home test and got a very light second line. So I don't really trust home tests!
