Actually, your ignoring a very very important part of the information here;

5 Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every R136 intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6 The R137 LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved R138 in F92 His heart. 7 The LORD said, " R139 I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, from man to animals to creeping things and to birds of the sky; F93 for I R140 am sorry that I have made them."

***

God had became so angry, that he said he was going to destroy everything on the earth. The nephillim aren't mentioned much in this bible because this bible is the history of the relationship of man and God. The use of the word Everything, covers nephillim.

God stopped, because he saw Noah and he saw that the rightousness of man lived in him. Now, through Noah, he preserved and restored life back to its rightousness.

God mentioned that he was sorry for making everything that was on earth. EVERYTHING
So God destroyed the earth because birds were evil, oh no because flies were evil, oh no because fish were evil, ect...

No God destroyed the earth because MAN was evil not because of birds, flies, fish , or nephilim.

Like I said should I believe you or God.?

Onwingsaseagles,

Who do you believe that the Nephilim, Anakim, and others are? Who are the giants who slept in the large beds with six fingers and six toes? Where did they come from?

Gen 6:4There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare [children] to them, the same [became] mighty men which [were] of old, men of renown.

Num 13:33And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, [which come] of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

Deu 2:11
Which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims; but the Moabites call them Emims.

Deu 2:20(That also was accounted a land of giants: giants dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims;

Deu 3:11For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold, his bedstead [was] a bedstead of iron; [is] it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits [was] the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.

Deu 3:13And the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, [being] the kingdom of Og, gave I unto the half tribe of Manasseh; all the region of Argob, with all Bashan, which was called the land of giants.

Jos 12:4And the coast of Og king of Bashan, [which was] of the remnant of the giants, that dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,

Jos 13:12All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants: for these did Moses smite, and cast them out.

Jos 15:8And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same [is] Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that [lieth] before the valley of Hinnom westward, which [is] at the end of the valley of the giants northward:

Jos 17:15And Joshua answered them, If thou [be] a great people, [then] get thee up to the wood [country], and cut down for thyself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the giants, if mount Ephraim be too narrow for thee.

Jos 18:16And the border came down to the end of the mountain that [lieth] before the valley of the son of Hinnom, [and] which [is] in the valley of the giants on the north, and descended to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of Jebusi on the south, and descended to Enrogel,

Fee Fi Fo Fum....where do you think all the stories about giants originated? The giants were real and they did bad things to humans. So, who are they and where did they come from? (hint: Genesis 6:4)

That is not what the bible says the bible says it was because the thought of ''MAN'' was continually evil, the Bible says nothing about destroying the earth because of the ''nephilim''

because of who mankind was mixing with....the sons of God (angels-fallen in this case)were here on earth, mating with Adam's daughters....creating a race that was not pure anymore and had to be destroyed because of who they were...Noah was still perfect in his generations, and after 500 years of searching, Noah finally finds a likewise pure woman to marry and have a family with....Noah and his family are chosen by God to continue the Royal seed line (Gen3:15) that the sons of God were trying to thwart by mixing their seed in with Adam's..., so as to stop Messiah from ever being born...by attacking the line in which he was to come....

subsequently, we can see that the fallen angels come back to earth and have more seed (giants) when God chooses another to continue the Line....once Abraham is chose, the attacks come, etc...hence the sword of Israel came to wipe them out...

Genesis 6:5-6
5 And God saw that the wickedness of MAN was great in the earth, And every imagination of the thoughts of his (MANS) heart was only evil continually.
6 And it repented the Lord that he had made MAN on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

the first 4 verses set the stage though...and you have not included them??

This is why God destroyed the earth with the flood because MANS heart was evil.

Yes, but why was man's heart evil??? we are just told why in Gen6:1-4...

You say it was because of the nephilim, but God's word says it was because of the evilness of MAN.

Who should I believe?
lol, no one is saying that they were not evil in God's eyes....we are discussing why their hearts were evil....and I never said it was because of the Nephilim...it was because of the fallen angels - sons of God, who sired the giants (Nephilim) with the adamic women.

If my info is correct, it was Laodicea.

And it looks like they did not originally include Philippians, Ephesians and Romans.
I am not aware of a single council which canonized a list of 66 books as biblical. I could be wrong.

Wow, really? That's frightening. I wonder where the current 66 book collection came from....especially when it's promoted as "complete" as it is.

For the most part it came about as Bible printers decided they could print cheaper Bibles if they were thinner. So the motive was profit.

I have to pop in to support you on that because of course you are correct.
No long post needed to state the obvious. Never in the history of the Church has a list of 66 books been "canonized" in any place. Different "Churches" have a list called their "canon", but there is no agreement among them, and the Jews who rejected Jesus made a list in 1 AD, which list was used by fallible men in the 4th century who were following fallible men in the first century who had rejected Jesus as YHWH come in flesh, and as the Son of Man who was with God and who was God, as Enoch showed Him to be.
so the unbelieving Jews who rejected Jesus are the source for the western Church's "Canon" list, and not the Holy Spirit.

[rhetorical question]So shouldn't the people who claim they stick with the canon the Jews accepted also reject the 27 books of the New Testament as apocryphal also, since it was rejected by the same folks who set their Bible to 39?[/rhetorical question]

Stated another way, anyone who says they go by the canon of the Bible of 66 books should really be saying they go by the Bible of 39 books, (or 24 by the reckoning of the Hebrew Bible.)

those sons of God, or fallen Angels, are coming back
here with Satan when they are cast out of heaven ...

There will be a future war in heaven, after which
Satan and his fallen angels will be cast down to the
earth (Revelation 12:7-9). This casting down could
occur on December 21, 2012, and could be made to
appear by Satan as what the world will see as an
"alien" visitation. The world has already been well-
primed through science fiction to believe in the
possible existence of aliens and of their visiting
the earth.

zeke37 posted in message #70:

angels are very physical beings ...

Angels are spirits (Hebrews 1:7), but when they enter
the physical realm they can take on avatars, real
physical bodies which can, for example, grasp the
hands of humans (Genesis 19:16) and eat food
(Genesis 18:8).

So Satan and his fallen angels, when they are cast
down to the earth, could take on real physical bodies,
even ones which look human, or perhaps humanoid,
like the grey aliens.
