What is the most bizarre/humorous thing your spouse has been angry at you for?

Hmm, I'll go first. Last night my husband got mad at me because I didn't want to run through a public park at ten after midnight while patrol cars were making their rounds. Apparently he gets a thrill out of trespassing. I don't. He was genuinely mad at me for this, yelling at me and calling me a prude, until a few minutes later when we both started laughing over how stupid it was.

Stamps! I can laugh about it now, but when it happened we were really mad for a few hours! We were in Italy, and he wanted to put normal stamps on the postcards to our friends and family, and I said that we needed international stamps for them. He was sure that we didn't.

I was right. :p

I think that was our first fight.

Hmmm, I can't think of anything right now, seems like he could give you an earful though. OH, one of the hugest fights we had was over the radio station... we fought over the control of that knob while he was driving... in was on the way home from church, we were both spittin mad about it and neither of us were giving in. He would change it to his station and cover the knob with his hand, I'd pry his hand off and change it to my station.. and back and forth we went. We were yelling at eachother, the baby was crying, it wasn't the best situation. Pretty rediculous huh?

Well he dosen't get mad hardly at all- and if he DOES get mad it's for a good reason :sorry:

Having said that, I'm pregnant and therefore the raging hormones have provided some fights that are hilarious to look back on. Like the time I sent him to the store for stir fry noodles and he came home with the "wrong" ones. I spent a good 10 minutes screaming at him, followed by an hour of sobbing in the bedroom.

Poor soul, had no idea it was coming. We laugh at it now, I felt like such a witch but I couldn't help it. It was like an out of body experience... I couldn't stop myself :D

When we were pregnant with the first we had a fight over something while putting the crib together in the nursery... I threw the screw driver at the wall and put a whole in it. I don't do it much anymore... we've grown in our 9 years of marriage... but as you can see I'm a thrower when I get mad.

You folks are funny!!

I remember the time my wife was upset at me for laugh at something she did. She didn't expect that her ride home from work will be an hour longer that day. She hit bumper to bumper traffic and needed to go. You could imagine the rest from there. She was SOOO upset because rather than sympathizing for her I was laughing, but I couldn't help it. It was just too funny! We can laugh about it now together but she has no authority on this one should any of the kids do it.

We were watching some reality show that had a contest requiring people to make themselves cry. I was sitting in front of him so he couldn't see me, and I yawned a bunch of times to make my eyes water. Then I turned around and showed him how I could make myself cry.

He was kind of joking, but I think he was really upset that I might be able to manipulate tears, because when I'm upset enough to cry about something he usually realizes it means a lot to me. I was like, well next time we have an argument and I yawn 50 times in a row, then you can worry! ^_^

In general, I've probably gotten mad at him for more bizarre things than he has. But that's not what the thread is about so I'll just keep that to myself. ;)

I can't think of anything silly my husband's been mad at me for, but I can think of one the other way around.

After a very vivid dream during which my husband was mean to me, I was miffed at my husband all day. I couldn't shake it at all, no matter how ridiculous it was. Luckily, my husband has a sense of humor. :)

That has happened to me too! ^_^ It didn't last all day though, just the first few hours. I couldn't stop talking about it either. Must've drove him nuts.

I have had several dreams in which my husband cheated on me, and after waking up I stayed mad at him for hours. He didn't think it fair that I was mad (well, irritated, not seriously angry) at him for something he did only in a dream. I didn't think it fair that he cheated on me. :sorry:

We had another couple over one night to play board games.

For one of the games (Cranium, if any of you are familiar), it required two teams of two. So I teamed up with the other wife, and Mrs. Redguard teamed up with the other husband.

It seems that the other wife and I are two peas from the same pod because we both have an affinity for trivia based board games. Needless to say, we schooled Mrs. Redguard and my partner's husband.

I was being humble about it, but my partner decided to brag and show off our victory.

That didn't stop Mrs. Redguard from totally throwing a tantrum at the end of the game and proclaiming that she would NEVER play it again. After the other couple left, she continued on with me and all I could do was try to avoid her.

She claimed afterwards that she had been drinking and wasn't thinking straight.

It's kinda funny to think about now but at the time... it totally WAS NOT FUNNY. I was scurred.

Ok...I got one....

My husband didn't speak to me for an entire day because he had a DREAM that I wouldn't let him eat anything out of the fridge. Apparently, I was even more difficult to deal with than usual in this particular dream and it was enough to keep him angry for a full 24 hrs. Go figure!

We had the dream issue this morning! I had a dream that my husband had a female friend, and he used a different name with her and refused to tell me what it was. I reminded him that we'd seen an episode of Dr. Phil that discussed this, and that he said it was a deal breaker, and I threatened to leave him if he didn't tell me what name he used -- which he refused to do, despite my crying and dramatic packing of bags, LOL.

I woke up soooooooo mad at him, and it lasted through breakfast. He just did not understand. :p
