I hate to see how atheist / humanist folks often appear more "Christ-like" on this forum than many American conservative Christians who keep on slinging around absolutely childish slanders like this, "O Hussein".
If you believe you have the truth, do you think you can convince ANYONE of it without LOVE? Christians who slander their opponents drive people away from God and make big fools of themselves. I'm sick of this Gospel-dipped-in-mud game. I'm sure you could do a lot better than that.

oh of course sir. It's ok for liberals to call Bush "hitler" and to scream "don't kill babies for oil" but only kill them through abortion and to attack physically little children as Democrats did in the Kerry fiasco. But hey, if a Christian gets into the melee all of a sudden they're no longer Christian.
Come on man, hit me with something better than that old little squeal.

Anyway....

Today Barack Hussein Obama said instead of drilling for oil the way to solve the oil crisis is to "inflate your tires".
C'mon liberals, don't let this guy talk without a teleprompter please!! It's embarrassing for you.

On a lighter note, while speaking to the House Democrats, Barry explained how his ego is bigger than all 57 states...

"Inside, according to a witness, he told the House members, “This is the moment . . . that the world is waiting for,” adding: “I have become a symbol of the possibility of America returning to our best traditions.”

I am the one you have been praying for.... ^_^

On another note, the democratic liberal agenda has banned certain fast food joints in the "lower economic" areas of L.A. The democrats have deemed poor people are too fat and it's embarrassing them. So now they will tell you where and what you can eat if you are poor.
Interestingly enough, certain places are allowed to stay, such as Subway and Los Pollos Locos. The government will decide what is healthy for you.
But no, it's the republicans that are fascists right?

*watches from the sidelines* ....fights between liberalism and conservatives is so cute. We should get some mascots for the fellas eh? I think that would be an AWESOME idea.

That aside. I'll go for the nice well spoken black man over the doldrums of more republican ineptitude. But whomever becomes President. I hope they help push the initiative to fix some parts of this country.

12 Really Good Reasons Why No American Should Ever Vote For Barack Obama

Have you seen this list? It is the hardest hitting and most comprehensive case against Obama that anyone has put together.

These are some of the items the list covers:

#5) Obama voted for sex education for children in KINDERGARTEN through the 5th grade.

Source? (A wingnut blog doesn't count, sorry)

#8) "Christian" Barack Obama is going to accept a two foot tall gold plated idol of the Hindu god Hanuman from a group of prominent Hindus in India after it has been "sanctified" by Hindu priests.

You're right, he should have told them to turn it sideways and stick it where the sun don't shine. Diplomacy and tact are soooooo overrated...

#11) Barack Obama is openly breaking federal law regarding the Great Seal of the United States.

Wow...is he clubbing it or something? Definitely sounds like a top priority issue to me.

Well, "conservative" Thomas Jefferson re-wrote the New Testament "editing out" all the stuff about Jesus' miracles and his divine origin.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jefferson_Bible
Yeah, I knew about that.

Should we make a poll to find out how big a problem this is to the conservatives (conservative Christians, that is) of today?
As in politically conservative Christians, religiously conservative Christians, or Christians who are both?

You want me to read a list on a site that has this at the top of the page:

The Moral Collapse Of America
Documenting The Increasing Wickedness That Threatens To Destroy America
Should we fight to stop the wickedness in America? Perhaps we pick up shotguns a kill the wicked?

Are you trying to be considerate about poor people's burdens instead of simply blaming them of their own laziness? Isn't that called "bleeding-heart" over there?

I'm against abortions. The only thing I'm just sick of are other like-minded people who believe that once the baby is out of the womb, he's on his own. Throw him to the wolves if you so please. I understand that not everyone can start off equal, and I understand that working hard can still help you climb up the ladder regardless of where you are, but some do need a little help to get there.

But you're seeing conservatives on boards insinuating that a child's value is literally zero once it's out of the womb. It's up to the parents (and charities on occassion) to do what they wish to them, and not everyone will be dealt a fair hand. Some of them are lazy (I won't say who), but have you seen the working class in America? In any country in the world? They work three times as hard as me for half the wages. People like them that are just trying to feed their families deserve help.

"We Are No Longer A Christian Nation" -Ringo

okay, I get it, we are now embarassed enough about our religion to make the distinction...I say, "bleh!"

He never said that, Obama apparently did according to that blog, and he was just commenting. Jumping into conclusions also falsely leads people to thinking you're racist.

Let's also not forget that many of these "pro-life"' people could care less about the baby anyway once it's out of the mother's womb.
Glad you mentioned the out of the womb part since Obama twice voted against a bills requiring that babies that survive the abortion be given medical attention.

Don't talk to me about morals. Pro-life conservatives have proven they have no more morals than Obama. At least Obama is honest about his position.

Actually the second time he voted against the bill requiring medical attention for babies surviving the abortion(technically he was the head of the comittee and was responsible for it not getting up for a vote) he claimed it was becuase the bill was too vague even though it had had wording added that made it identical to a similar federal law. On that point he's been anything but honest.

This sounds like hyperbole to me. A "rabid advocate"? Please. Nobody's a "rabid advocate" of abortion.
Anyone who opposes requiring medical attention be given to babies that survive the abortion on the grounds that that might in some way be extended to somehow limit abortion is pretty close to a rabid advocate of abortion.
