Lam 3:19 Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall.
Lam 3:20 My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me.
Lam 3:21 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.
Lam 3:22 It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
Lam 3:23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

1 Corinthians 4:5 . . .
Be careful not to jump to conclusions before
the LORD returns as to whether or not someone
is Faithful. When the LORD comes, HE will bring
our deepest secrets to light and will reveal
our private motives. And then GOD will give
to everyone whatever praise is due.

We should be very slow to judge others,
because only GOD is capable of judging
rightly every time.

Romans 2:1 . . .
You may be saying, “What terrible people you
have been talking about!” But you are just as bad,
and you have no excuse! When you say they
are wicked and should be punished,
you are condemning yourself, for you
do these very same things.

When we condemn others for
their sin, GOD sees our hypocrisy.

1 Samuel 16:7 . . .
The Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by
his appearance or height, for I have
rejected him. The LORD doesn’t make
decisions the way you do!
People judge by outward appearance,
but the LORD looks at a person’s Thoughts
and Intentions.”

GOD doesn’t want us to make judgments
based on outward appearance.
Leviticus 19:15 . . .
Always Judge your neighbors Fairly, neither
favoring the poor nor showing deference
to the rich.

When we have to make a Judgment,
we must do so with Fairness and Integrity.

Matthew 8:3 . . .
JESUS touched him. “I want to,” he said.
“Be Healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared.

GOD uses Miracles to Show HIS Love for us.

Matthew 14:14 . . .
A vast crowd was there as HE stepped from
the boat, and HE had Compassion on them
and Healed their sick.

GOD uses Miracles to Show HIS Compassion for us!!

Luke 19:37 . . .
As they reached the place where the road started
down from the Mount of Olives, all of HIS Followers
began to shout and sing as they walked along,
Praising GOD for all the Wonderful Miracles they
had seen.

We should Offer Praise and Thanksgiving to HIM.

Psalm 9:1 . . .
I will Thank You, LORD, with all my Heart;
I will tell of all the Marvelous Things you
have done.

We can Best Show our Thanks by becoming a
Testimony to what GOD has Done for us.

Psalm 3:5 . . .
I lay down and slept. I woke up in Safety,
for the LORD was Watching over me.

Psalm 4:8 . . .
I will lie down in Peace and Sleep,
for You Alone, O LORD, will keep me Safe.

Psalm 29:11 . . .
The LORD gives HIS People Strength.
The LORD Blesses them with Peace.

Psalm 32:7 . . .
You are my Hiding Place;
You Protect me from trouble.
You Surround me with Songs of Victory.

Philippians 4:7 . . .
If you do this, you will Experience GOD’s Peace,
which is far more Wonderful than the Human Mind
can Understand.
HIS Peace will Guard your Hearts and Minds
as you live in CHRIST JESUS.

Joshua 22:26-27 . . .
We decided to build the altar, not for burnt sacrifices,
but as a Memorial. It will remind our descendants and
your descendants that we, too, have the Right to
Worship the LORD at HIS Sanctuary with our burnt
offerings, sacrifices, and peace offerings.

Esther 9:28 . . .
These days would be remembered and kept from
generation to generation and celebrated by every
family throughout the provinces and cities of the
empire. These days would never cease to be
celebrated among the Jews, nor would the memory
of what happened ever die out among their descendants.

Special days and Special Objects associated
with GOD’s Blessings continue to remind us
of GOD’s Future Blessings, too.

Ps 141:4

Let not my heart be drawn to what is evil

Psa 23:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Psa 23:2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
Psa 23:3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Psa 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Psa 23:5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Psa 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Psalm 32:8 . . .
I will Guide you along the Best Pathway
for your life.
I will Advise you and Watch over you.

Psalm 37:23-24 . . .
The Steps of the GODLY are Directed
by the LORD.
HE Delights in every Detail of their Lives.

GOD Guides us along the Right Path.

Proverbs 3:6 . . .
Seek HIS Will in all You Do, and
HE will Direct your Paths.

Direction comes when we
Seek GOD’s Will First.

Jeremiah 29:11 . . .
“I know the Plans I have for you,”
says the LORD.
“They are plans for good and
not for disaster,
to give you a Future and a Hope.”

GOD has Wonderful Plans for your life.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 . . .
All Scripture is Inspired by GOD and is Useful
to Teach us what is True and to make
us Realize what is Wrong in our Lives.
It straightens us out and Teaches us to
do what is Right. It is GOD’s Way of
Preparing us in every way, Fully
Equipped for every Good Thing GOD
Wants Us to Do!!

Reading and Studying the Bible is one
of the ways GOD Prepares us for
whatever HE has in store for us.

Matthew 26:39, 42, 44 . . .
He went on a little farther and fell face down
on the ground, praying, “My Father! If it is possible,
let this cup of suffering be taken away from me.
Yet I want Your Will, not mine.” Again he left them
and prayed, “My Father! If this cup cannot be
taken away until I drink it, Your Will be done.”
So he went back to pray a third time, saying
the same things again.

Pray to GOD about Adapting to HIS Will.

Luke 1:17 . . .
“He will be a man with the Spirit and Power of Elijah,
the prophet of old. He will Precede the coming of
the LORD, Preparing the people for his Arrival.
He will turn the Hearts of the fathers to their children,
and he will change disobedient minds to Accept
GODLY Wisdom.”

1Co 13:8 Love never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall be done away; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall be done away.
1Co 13:9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part:
1Co 13:10 but when that which is perfect is come, that which is in part shall be done away.
1Co 13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child: now that I am become a man, I have put away childish things.
1Co 13:12 For now we see in a mirror, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I have been known.
1Co 13:13 But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love.

Psalm 139

1 O LORD, you have searched me
and you know me.
2 You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.

3 You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.

4 Before a word is on my tongue
you know it completely, O LORD.

5 You hem me in—behind and before;
you have laid your hand upon me.

6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.

7 Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?

8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, [a] you are there.

9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,

10 even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.

11 If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,"

12 even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.

13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.

14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,

16 your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.

17 How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!

18 Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand.
When I awake,
I am still with you.


It is incredible to me how much God knows us, so intimately and His love is so evident in these verses, well it reads that way to me. I long to rest in that knowing and care that God has for me more, getting there on that. It is a wonder when I read this Psalm that I can forget the depths of God's care sometimes and think He is far away because as big as He is, these verses show how much God is with us and knows us even more than we know ourselves and cares so much about every detail of our lives.

How blessed we are to be called the children of God

Psalm 146:3 . . .
Don’t put your confidence in powerful people;
there is no help for you there.

Psalm 40:4 . . .
Oh, the joys of those who Trust the LORD,
who have no confidence in the proud, or
in those who worship idols.

Proverbs 25:19 . . .
Putting confidence in an unreliable person
is like chewing with a toothache or walking
on a broken foot.

Jeremiah 17:5-8 . . .
This is what the LORD says: “Cursed are those
who put their Trust in mere humans and turn
their hearts away from the LORD. They are like
stunted shrubs in the desert, with No Hope for
the future. They will live in the barren wilderness,
on the salty flats where no one lives. But Blessed
are those who Trust in the LORD and have made
the LORD their Hope and Confidence. They are
like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots
that reach deep into the water. Such trees are
not bothered by the heat or worried by long
months of drought. Their leaves stay green,
and they go right on producing delicious fruit.”

1 Peter 1:21 . . .
Through CHRIST you have come to Trust in GOD.
And because GOD Raised CHRIST from the dead
and gave HIM Great Glory, your Faith and Hope
can be Placed Confidently in GOD.

While it is Good and Necessary to Trust Others,
GOD is the Only One in whom we can Completely Trust.
We can have Complete Assurance that what HE
says is True and what HE does is Reliable.
That’s because people, who are not perfect,
will sometimes fail you, but GOD, who is Perfect,
will Never fail you.

Exodus 34:14 . . .
You must Worship no other gods,
but only the LORD, for HE is a GOD
who is Passionate about HIS
Relationship with you!!

Deuteronomy 5:9 . . .
I, the LORD Your GOD, am a Jealous GOD
who will not share your Affection with
any other god!

Deuteronomy 32:21 . . .
They have roused my Jealousy
by worshiping non-gods.

Zechariah 1:14 . . .
This is what the LORD Almighty says:
My love for Jerusalem and Mount Zion
is Passionate and Strong.

When people give their Honor, Praise,
and Love to other things,
GOD is Jealous that the Honor Due HIM
has been Squandered Elsewhere.
Because GOD Deserves all our
Honor, Praise, and Love, this is an
Honest Recognition of what HE
Deserves.

Deuteronomy 30:19-20 . . .
“Today I have given you the Choice
between Life and Death,
between Blessings and Curses.
I call on Heaven and Earth to Witness
the Choice You Make.
Oh, that you would Choose Life, that you
and your descendants might live!
Choose to Love the LORD Your GOD
and to Obey HIM and Commit Yourself
to HIM, for HE is Your Life!!”

We must all decide whether to Love
and Obey GOD and Commit Ourselves
to HIM or not.

John 3:36 . . .
All who Believe in GOD’s SON have Eternal Life.
Those who don’t Obey the SON will never
experience eternal life, but the wrath of
GOD remains upon them.

We must all decide what
we Believe about JESUS.
