Take a bunch of creationists, and put them in a rigorous science education program involving their doing actual experiments, both in the lab and in the field.

I don't know if it would ever have the popular appeal to take off, but I certainly would find it entertaining. What does everyone else here think?

To make it exciting for TV, it needs some more drama, you know, some danger. So here's my idea: You get a rope and dangle some atheists over a pit of starving lions. You start slowing lowering them into the pit, and tell them you'll stop lowering as soon as they can explain how something can come from nothing.

Yikes....still bitter after Nero much?

Guess creationists are afraid to learn real science then if this is their idea of original programming...

Ok, we can compromise. Creationists do experiments, atheists go to Bible studies.

Except this will obviously be unfair on the Creationists of course.

"Quantum fluctuations" one of the atheists yells out a mere 2 seconds into the show.
Roll end credits, the atheists win on what may have been the shortest show in history

Religion is the consequence of humanity's inability to provide a cause for its own existence. Voila! Something from nothing.

(Although I'd expect they would still feed me to the lions for 'blashpemy'. Zealots seem to enjoy that sort of thing, and violence and religion usually go hand in hand...)

The director glances over at the show's physicist consultant. The physicist shakes his head and says "keep lowering".

Who is this physicist consultant, Kent Hovind? ;) :D

(You never know, while in jail, he's had the time to mail-order any number of specialty PhD's...)

Here we see how a "True Christian" follows the teachings of Jesus of Nazarath. Well done, sir!

Hey, I just thought of an alternative version of your show. You get a rope and dangle some creationist over a pit of starving lions. You start slowing lowering them into the pit, and tell them you'll stop lowering as soon as they can explain how God come from nothing.

And you'll get the same answer we've always given. God doesn't come from anything. He is eternal and uncreated. But I think you already knew that; there'd be no suspense to that show. The atheists however, claim something for which the world is still awaiting an explanation.
