I do hope they don't disrupt the wonderful discussions that take place here, that would really be a shame,

Consol, these sort of posts are made when the general consensus of the on-line group is that the thread is completely useless, and beyond redemption. Usually this can take quite a few pages for most threads, but with your particular threads, the members here have decided that they are beyond redemption from the OP onwards.

It's an essential part of debating. For one thing, during that brief time when ShieldOfFaith posted his utter crap here, posting rabbit and caturday pictures not only kept us all sane, it also accelerated the closure of a thread that had gone on too long.

You have to admit that as protesting goes, posting kitty pics is about as benign as can be imagined. No one could possibly suggest that a picture of a cat can be interpreted as a flame or insult. A comment, yes.
