First of all, I didn't say anything "hostile".
Second, it has nothing to do with how I present it. This is where sound doctrine comes to die and the people here love their pet doctrines more than they love the truth.
I post on a total of four message boards. As far as I know, I post the same way on all of them. Funny, but I've never been attacked on any of those, but am constantly attacked here.
If it were a matter of my posting style, then it would be safe to say that I'd be attacked on the other boards, as well
They're going to do it whether I ask them to or not.
2nd Peter 1:3-11
3 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7 and to godliness,
brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. 8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will
keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins. 10 Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall, 11 and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Galatians 6:1
Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of
meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
Ephesians 4:1-3
1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
2 With all lowliness and
meekness, with longsuffering,
forbearing one another in love;
Colossians 3:12
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind,
meekness, longsuffering;
1 Timothy 6:11
11 But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and
gentleness.
2nd Timothy 2:24
24 And the Lords servant
must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone able to teach,
patiently enduring evil, 25
correcting his opponents with gentleness.
