The book of Revelation is easy to outline. A simple outline could be made as follows:
I. Introduction. ch. 1
II. Letters of critique to seven first century churches. ch. 2-3
III. Scene in heaven in preparation for the Tribulation Period. ch. 4-5
IV. The Tribulation Period. ch. 6-19
V. The Millennium and Great White Throne. ch. 20
VI. The New Jerusalem and the eternal state. ch.21-22

IMO...
the book of Revelation, is the revelation of Jesus Christ given to John, so he could tell us the things that would happen in and around the last days of this age...
it is the UNSEALING of that which was sealed in the OT.
through the Holy Spirit, we can understand the overall plan of God and work for Him in that time, in this time....
it is for the entire world, not just Jerusalem, nor just current day Israel....
the intro sets the scene, as John is taken to another dimension and time....
he is taken to the Lord's day (the Millennium) and is in the spirit(flesh cannot inhabbit heaven so John is in his other body, the heavenly spiritual body thet we all have waiting for us...as taught in 1Cor15)
so John is told of the 7 churches, which are defined as the 7 candlesticks...
2 of the 7 are not chastized and teach a doctrine that is in common. The other 5 are chastized but hope is still given that some may come out of their affected church type and overcome.
after chapter3 ends, John is given another vision, same idea, as he is taken into that other dimension (where heaven is) and sees the events in symbolic form....seeing the lamb of God eventually overcoming and opening the seals, and EVERY KNEE bowing to Him....
so after chapters4 and 5, that is it....it is over....
then John sees the events in detail, starting with the seals of God...these are the info that allows one to be ready for the events that will happen....the first seal is the fake Jesus arriving on the scene...
and then war follows
and inflation to an increadible amount
and death and disease follow....
all 4 of these riders are symbolic of Satan and what he brings with him....
he will take over the world somehow, and Daniel tells us it is on the wings of peace, by deception, lies...
the 5th seal is the elect on earth who have a jopb to do...a witness to make, and the end cannot come until that job is done...
the 6th seal is the heavenly judgementswhich we see in multiple places as well....earthquake lightning...etc...Satan cast from heaven to the earth for his 1/2 hour of temptation...
and in the 7th seal, it is that silence time....when Satan is cast from ehaven and is no longer accusing the Elect on earth...
as we notice before, the seals are given to the 12 tribes of Israel...which are comprised of the decendants of the 2 southern tribes of Judah and Benjamin (who were known collectively as the house of Judah) and of the 10 northern tribes, (who were collectively known as the house of Israel) and who were scattered by the Assyrian, by God really...eventually even to the 4 winds/corners of the world...and became other peoples and nations....
a historic and biblical study will reveal them to be those (at least in part) who settled Europe and the America's, after crossing the Caucusis mountains...the Christian nations of today basically...
so when you read of Israel in prophesy, it is not speaking of the jews...they are called Judah in prophesy....
we see this same sealing in Ez9f
and we know that they follow the Lamb where ever He goes, so they are Christians...(Rev14)
now, notice that these people (elect) are sealed (with the truth) before Satan is cast to earth...before the final 1/2 hour which is silent in heaven), therefore the elect are NOT JEWS who will convert....as there are no conversions once Satan is one earth,.......at least not until the true Messiah Comes.
these elect cannot be fooled or even tempted by Satan...God has promised to keep them safe in this time..not remove them from the planet, but to supernaturally keep them protected...from Satan....Luke21...who is death....Heb12.
then we see the trumps, which are the orders blown from heaven to earth, for actions to happen....
the first 4 (IMO) are symbolic of Satan's deceptions, causing many souls to be spiritually killed so to speak...the 1/3 that fell in the age that was before the foundation of the world (age)
the 5th trump tells us of the entire length of time of the tribulation...it has been shortened as Christ teaches in Mat24 and Mar13...and here we see how long it is...5 months. both 1/2's of the final hour, all together totals 5 months.
and Satan arrives, cast from heaven.... at the 1/2 way point...
the 6th trump is telling us who is in charge when these events happen...the antiChrist is the reason for the spiritual death that is happening in many people today, even in some who profess Christ...

and then the 7th trump happens, which is when Christ arrives to Gather His elect from earth...we know that He brings the dead believers with Him,
that is the time of the great mystery change of 1Cor15...when ALL FLESH is instantly changed to the heavenly celestial body that angels have....the same body that Christ and the dead have....
so, when Christ arrives, ALL flesh is done away with, and we get new bodies which will last the entire 1000 year Millennium....good and bad alike get their incorruptible body, but only these firstfruits (the elect gathered from heaven and earth) are immortal and will not face the possibility of the second death (that of the soul)....
the rest go through the 1000 years (Day of the Lord/Millennium) and must overcome Satana t the end, after a long time of discipline and teaching...for many it will be the very first time that they hear the truth....the whole truth, because the traditions of man have muddied the purity of the Word of God to the point where it is not even milk anymore, let alone nurrishing substinence...
the pre trib rapture is a tradition of man, possibly planted by Satan to deceive many...
as for the vials, it is the result of the wrath of God, which the elect pour on the fooled....it is the truth and it cuts both ways....it also a self punnishment, as those fooled Chrsitians will reaize that they are fooled, and will be so ashamed infront of the Lord that they will wanna die....
so, Satan will cause the world to harlot after him, instead of being faithful to the soon returning Bridegroom....whoring in a spiritual sense....
so all who fall for fake religion or any other form of religion that is not the truth of God's Word, are in that harlot....
and Satan will use that harlot as much as possible...
the completion of the Book, teaches that the fooled people, will have the truth taught for that 1000 years, and heave to overcome Satan again, when he is released for his final time at the end of the Millennium...
in that 1000 year Millennium, the elect will reighn and rule over the others who were fooled by Satan....and teach them all the truth...
all will have the truth and all can make a real choice between God and Satan....
God is setting up for the foreverafter...so any one that can be shaken, must be blotted out of existance....stand firmly on the truth of Christ, and you cannot be shaken...
remember that Jesus teaches that Satan must come first to fool the world....
we do not leave the planet early, but are kept safe in that time, and kept from being tempted by Satan's bag of lies...the flood of lies...because we have the truth...he cannot tempt us if we know the truth...
and we are supposed to be in battle and run the race right till the end, and have patience....in your PATIENCE possess you your soul...
Christ will come, and we can know what to do for Him in the mean time....we have a great Job to do, a witnmess to give....
He needs us to put all His enemies under His feet, at His footstool, and Christ is not leaving the throne until all that is done....we are the ones who do it...through a witness of the truth...an end time event...a trial of the elect, infront of Satan and seen by the entire world's population...
Satan is God's enemy so he(Satan) must likewise be on earth before Christ even leaves His throne....

The Book of Revelation is primarily about the end of the Jewish Nation in the first century and the persecution of St. John and his contemporaries under the Roman Emperors and Jewish leaders of their day.
It is also about the historical change from the Old Covenant Jerusalem to the New Covenant Jerusalem, as per mentioned in Galatians 4:22-31.
