Jude 1:24-25 (ESV) “Now to the one who is able to keep you from falling, and to cause you to stand, rejoicing, without blemish before his glorious presence, 25 to the only God our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, power, and authority, before all time, and now, and for all eternity. Amen.”

This idea of forever has been on my mind since yesterday. As we conclude our last verse-by-verse devotion on Jude, let’s dwell on this topic. Below are verses plucked from the security of their respective and surrounding contexts. This is to focus you on the eternality of God and praise Him for His faithful throughout all time.

Monday we will summarize our study on Jude. Please stay tuned!

Psalm 9:6-7 “The enemy's cities have been reduced to permanent ruins; you destroyed their cities; all memory of the enemies has perished. 7 But the LORD rules forever; he reigns in a just manner.”

Psalm 19:9 “The commands to fear the LORD are right and endure forever. The judgments given by the LORD are trustworthy and absolutely just.”

Psalm 33:11 “The LORD's decisions stand forever; his plans abide throughout the ages.”

Psalm 111:10 “To obey the LORD is the fundamental principle for wise living; all who carry out his precepts acquire good moral insight. He will receive praise forever.”

Psalm 125:1 “Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion; it cannot be upended and will endure forever.”

Isaiah 40:7-8 “The grass dries up, the flowers wither, when the wind sent by the LORD blows on them. Surely humanity is like grass. 8 The grass dries up, the flowers wither, but the decree of our God is forever reliable.”

1 Timothy 1:17 “Now to the eternal king, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever! Amen.”

Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever!”

Revelation 1:17-18 “’When I saw him I fell down at his feet as though I were dead, but he placed his right hand on me and said: ‘Do not be afraid! I am the first and the last, 18 and the one who lives! I was dead, but look, now I am alive– forever and ever– and I hold the keys of death and of Hades!’”
