Hi everyone The womens' retreat at Sandy Cove in Maryland was great. The speaker, RoseAnne Coleman, spoke from her heart and delivered awesome messages to us from God's word.

I didn't get to do any of the special activities that were planned for the weekend, I rested during the free time, which was a first for me. I came home feeling very refreshed and renewed.

Rose, after a Women's Conference, I've returned with the same sense of being refreshed and renewed...and also completely drained.

Rest, dear one. Be encouraged in your walk with the Lord, but also recognize your need for rest.

I most certainly did. I was extremely rebellious too... which is something I don't do too often.

Firstly, I celebrated it (that's a no-no). Second, I saw a movie (big no-no). Thirdly, it was in a theater (BIG no-no). Fourthly, I was in California to celebrate it (BIG no-no). Fifthly, it had talking animals in it (BIG BIG BIG no-no).

VERY rebellious. Thank you for asking.

did you enjoy the movie - my daughter, my grandboys and I saw the first installment (LWW) and are looking forward to the second. My daughter is trying to read the Prince Caspian to her nephews first though (since we dont' see them every day she's got a way to go).

My dd & I went to see the 2nd Chronicles of Narnia, over the weekend!! We loved it!! I highly recommend it. Aslan had such a great presense in it, that I 'teared up'.

I loved it! We saw it on Friday, rushed over there as soon as my daughter was home from school to beat the Friday evening crowd. I am so ashamed, I didn't remember the story very well. I've read the first one about 6 times, but the second one only twice. I'd better get reading again.

(But I love the 3rd book cuz the secret comes out. )

(I tried to put "Once a queen in Narnia, always a queen in Narnia" in my user title and it didn't fit. )

I haven't read the books since my kids were young (they're adults now ) that's why we're reading them with the grandboys

One day last week when Lukas (7 years) and Logan (almost 4 years) were over - Lukas wanted to help read so we divided the chapter. When he'd get to a word he didn't know ( ) he'd try it a couple of times and then spell the word for me. When I'd tell him what the word was he'd think a second (I could see him sounding the word out in his head) and then say "that makes sense"

YAY!! I followed a rep link back to here..no, I'm not blonde, I just got spoiled with my User CP Favorites and with them gone I have to renavigate and save all over again....but it's nice to be back.

I truly had dt's y'all, I even thought about how everyone was doing while we were sitting here with no power and water for almost a week...so just know that you're loved
