Uhmmm today is Mother's Day and I know that there are lots of ladies here who long more than anything to be a wife and mother and that hasn't happened for them yet so I was giving them some hugs - do you have a problem with that?

I don't understand why the Lord does things in the timing that He does them but I do understand your longing and desire....trust in the Lord - lean not on your own understanding - He has big plans and dreams for you!

You're welcome...and you're right Mother's Day can be a difficult day for some for various reasons.
Yes, the Lord does know better...sometimes knowing that doesn't necessarily make it easier but it does give us something solid to fall back on in that frustration and that is the Lord and His love for each of us.

It was an ok day for me and I had to face the fact years ago when I had to have a hysterectomy that biological children weren't in my future...but I'm blessed with beautiful nieces and nephews who love me very much and I've been privileged to work with some wonderful children during my life so I'm very grateful for that as well....

I have a dear neighbor who recently lost both her son and her own mother...I saw her today and she looked horrible...my heart just broke for her. If anyone wants to say just a quick prayer, her name is Bonnie.
