OBSTINATE MOUNTAINS
In Christ at times we ask so much –Mt.7:7
We wait what God will tell –Isa.30:18
We hope to feel The Spirit’s touch –1Sa.10:26
Yet silence seems to dwell –Jn.12:
On bended knees we wait a while –Da.10:2,12-14
To see what God would give –Da.9:7
We’ve walked in truth that extra mile –Mt.5:41
A righteous life to live –2Ti.2:22
However much we fast and pray –Pr.29:9
However much we trust –2Sa.12:15-17
Life’s mountains seem to always stay –2Sa.12:18-23
No evil turns to dust –Jer.12:1
Like children spoilt, we frown and pout –1Ki.19:1-4
Between ourselves we cry –Ex.16:3-4
Till shallow faith makes room for doubt –Jas.1:6
Some turn from Christ and die –Gen.19:26
Let patience be our bridal gown –Col.1:11
Let love consume our fears –1Jn.4:18
Can God not tear our mountains down? –Mt.17:20
Each stronghold that appears –2Co.10:4
Has Christ not come and made us free –Jn.8:36
Can Jesus Spirit fail –Isa.51:5-6

WHATEVER COMES
When darkness whiles when shadows dance
When devils sing their songs
The saved will praise will lift their glance
To where their soul belongs
Though pain and torment walk our way
Though peace evades the night
No doubt will cause to lead astray
The soul that seeks The Light
No wealth or fame will cause to swerve
Nor vanities to sway
With heart and soul The Truth will serve
Along God’s chosen way
Are we to fear this world’s alarms?
From irritants to hide!
While safe within Salvation’s arms
God’s promises reside
Ailments may cause to while in bed
Demons may run amok
Satan may raise his evil head
But Christ remains The Rock
We know in whom we have believed
We know in whom we trust
We know The Spirit we’ve received
Will keep us from the dust
Regardless; what this world would share
What darkness may afford
No fortune can with God compare
Nor take us from The Lord?
From hills and vales we children learn
Through trials we understand
Nothing we gain will fail to burn
Outside of Jesus’ hand

Laura and I just back from three days away hill walking. Had a great time but glad to have the chance to rest some sore feet at last
Good to be back here with you guys as well Pretty soon get CF withdrawal symptoms when I'm away from here for a few days!
Hope all been well with you and yours, and that you all have a wonderful and blessed weekend

SUDDENLY THERE’S YOU
